CHELSEA have made an encouraging start to life under Thomas Tuchel and the Londoners will look to keep the feelgood factor flowing when locking horns with Leeds on Saturday lunchtime.
The Blues remain unbeaten since the German took the reins at Stamford Bridge and they have bolstered their bid for a top-four berth in the process.
Last time out, Chelsea continued their charge towards Champions League qualification with a well-deserved 2-0 win over top-four rivals Everton.
That triumph tightened Chelsea's grip on fourth spot, not to mention the Blues are now only four points behind second-placed Manchester United.
Leeds, meanwhile, head into this clash off the back of a 2-0 defeat at West Ham on Monday, on a night where both of my recommended bets landed.
Indeed, Marcelo Biela's men have impressed with their attack-minded approach this season, but the Whites have lost four of their last five Premier League fixtures.
Outright Betting
Leeds have lost five of 12 Premier League home matches this season and the hosts are the unfancied underdogs here at 18/5 with UniBet and the draw is trading at 29/10 with TonyBet.
Chelsea beat Leeds 3-1 at the start of December and the west Londoners are 3/4 with William Hill to repeat the trick this weekend.
Betting Angles
Leeds have failed to win a home game against any of the sides that are currently housed in the top-12 of the Premier League table and I fancy that sequence to be extended at Elland Road on Saturday.
However, to get a slightly bigger price on a Chelsea win I'll head to Bet Builder market and combine a Blues success alongside over one Leeds corner, a backable 4/5 shot with Bet 365.
The capital club arrive in West Yorkshire in the midst of a nine-match unbeaten run in the Premier league and their newfound defensive solidity under Thomas Tuchel has been laudable.
Leeds, for all their attacking brilliance, do have the fourth-worst defensive record in the division and they enter this dust-up having bagged just two clean sheets across their last 12 matches in all competitions.
With that in mind, coupled with the array of attacking talent that Tuchel has at his disposal, I'll happily back in-form Chelsea to chalk up another three points this weekend.
In order to get the above-mentioned Bet Builder up to 4/5 (Bet 365), I'll also back Leeds to hit over one corner in this contest – the Whites 11 match corners per game average is the highest tally in the top-flight this term and they have hit 2+ flag kicks in 26/27 league games this season.
My second Bet Builder for this Elland Road encounter is over one Chelsea goal and over zero Leeds cards, an eye-catching 6/5 play with Bet 365.
Leeds' cavalier approach has been their undoing when coming up against the heavyweights of the division this season – Bielsa's brittle backline have conceded two or more goals in meetings with the likes of Arsenal, Leicester Liverpool Tottenham, Man United and Chelsea in the corresponding fixture.
I'm therefore happy back the Blues to notch up a brace on Saturday but I'll also add in at least one Leeds card – Bielsa's boys have gone into the book in 11 of their last 13 league outings and they may have to take a card here when trying to tame Chelsea's top-heavy attack.
