Juventus will take on Monza in Serie A on Sunday, 27 April, in a huge match at both ends of the league table.
Juventus currently trail Bologna by one point in the race for Champions League football, and with the chasing pack closing in, they can ill afford to drop further down the league.
Monza, meanwhile, know that a defeat on Sunday could see them officially be relegated to Serie B.
How the bookies view it: Juventus start as huge favourites
Juventus come into this match as overwhelming favourites with the bookies, which is no surprise given where Monza are in the league. BoyleSports have priced a Juventus win as short as 2/11, while a victory for Monza has been priced at 14/1. The draw, which benefits neither side, has been priced at 5/1.
Head to head: Advantage Juventus
Juventus have an impressive recent record against Monza, with three wins from their last three meetings with the Biancorossi. Monza's last triumph over Juventus came in January 2023 when they pulled off a stunning 2-0 victory at the Allianz Stadium. What they would give for a repeat result on Sunday evening.
Players to watch: Juve craving some Yildiz magic
Kenan Yildiz has become the ace in the Juventus pack since he broke into the first team last season and the exciting teenager will be their main attacking outlet on Sunday with Dusan Vlahovic expected to miss out due to injury.
The Turkish winger is likely to become one of the hottest properties in Europe in the coming years if he can continue on the same trajectory. He is a little bit of a throwback winger in that his first thought when picking up the ball is to square up his full-back and run at him.
The modern game demands output, though, and he will need to improve in this area if he is to reach his full potential. So far this season, Yildiz has scored six goals and provided just two assists in Serie A, but he is a far better player than those stats suggest.
Looking to keep him quiet this weekend will be Monza's back five. They nearly managed to keep Napoli off the scoresheet last weekend so they aren't as bad as their goals against column suggests.
Predicted line-ups
Juventus are expected to be without their top goalscorer, Dusan Vlahovic, for Sunday's match who suffering a thigh injury against Parma. The Serbian striker joins Teun Koopmeiners, Samuel Mbangula, Federico, Gatti, Bremer, Arkadiusz Milik and Juan Cabal in the treatment room.
Monaa have issues of their own with Keita Balde, Matteo Pessina, Aramanda Izzo and Danilo D'Ambrosio all unavailable due to injury.
Juventus: Di Gregorio – Kalulu, Veiga, Kelly – McKennie, Thuram, Locatelli, Cambiaso – Gonzalez, Yildiz – Kolo Muani
Monza: Turati– Pereira, Caldirola, Carboni – Birindelli, Castrovilli, Akpa, Bianco Akpro, Kyriakopoulos – Mota, Caprari
Anything else catch the eye?
Juventus have scored exactly two goals in four of their last five matches against Monza given their superiority over their opponents, it would be no surprise if they hit that number again on Sunday. Juventus to score two goals has been priced at 14/5 with BoyleSports.
