Hibs are in pole position to get third place in the Premiership and they host relegation battlers St Johnstone on Saturday.
The capital club have undergone a remarkable transformation since they themselves were battling relegation worries at the start of the season.
Since the middle of November, only Celtic have defeated Hibs both in the league and in the Scottish Cup and both at Parkhead.
But they would have gone into the international break kicking themselves, having outplayed Kilmarnock at Rugby Park only to concede an injury time equaliser to drop two points in Ayrshire.
But even Killie boss Derek McInnes admitted after the game that it was the best Hibs side he had faced as a manager and they look strong all over the pitch at the moment.
Saints are desperately trying to cling onto their top flight status and they went into the break with what looked like a decent point at home to Aberdeen.
But they would have been distraught on seeing nearest challengers Dundee go a couple of hundred yards to Tannadice and beat Dundee United leaving them five points adrift at the bottom with eight games to go.
How the bookies view it? Hibs backed to win again
Hibs are strong favourites as you would expect but they are almost backable at 8/13 with Boylesports. St Johnstone are 4/1 outsiders and the draw is 13/5.
Recent head to heads: Hibs have the edge
Hibs eased to a comfortable 2-0 win against the Perth side in Leith, but had to settle for a 1-1 draw at McDiarmid Park back in January.
St Johnstone have actually won two of their last four trips to Easter Road.
Players to watch: Boyle in fine form
Martin Boyle has been back to his best for Hibs this season and he carried his recently excellent form into international football too when he netted in Australia's 5-1 World Cup win over Indonesia. He is 7/4 to score anytime with Boylesports.
Makenzie Kirk has been something of a revelation for Saints this season with ten goals for his club. He is
15/4 to score anytime with Boylesports.
Predicted line-ups:
Hibs will be without injured duo Nicky Cadden and Joe Newell.
St Johnstone will be without Uche Ikpeazu and Sam McClelland who are both injured.
Hibernian: Smith, Bushiri, Miller, Iredale, C Cadden, Levitt, Obita, Triantis, Boyle, Bowie, Hoilett.
St Johnstone: Fisher, Balodis, Mitchell, Douglas, Holt, Wright, Duke-McKenna, Sprangler, Curtis, Sidibeh, Kirk.
Anything else catch the eye?
St Johnstone can be hard work to break down as they showed to Aberdeen last week, but this Hibs team look to made of sterner stuff and should be too good for Saints.
They looked powerful all over the pitch in their last game against Killie and really only bad luck prevented them from winning comfortably.
With St Johnstone struggling to score goals and Hibs looking solid at the back, the call here is a Hibs win to nil at 13/8 with Boylesports.
It wouldn't be a surprise if this Hibs team came racing out of the blocks because they are full of confidence and they look a good shout to win half time and full time which is also at 13/8 with Boylesports.
And an in-form Boyle who is now on 15 for the season, including three goals in his last five games, looks a good punt to score too.
