WEST HAM are having a marvellous season, but manager David Moyes faces a real dilemma over team selection when his side travel to Belgium to face Genk in the Europa League.
The Hammers have been outstanding recently and their domestic form have been matched in Europe too with a splendid 100 per cent record in the Europa League after wins against Dinamo Zagreb, Rapid Vienna and Genk.
A win on Thursday would almost certainly seal qualification for the London club and continue their recent fine form. But they have a huge game on Sunday against Liverpool where they would overtake them with a win.
They face a Genk side who have recovered after a horror recent run of five defeats on the bounce where they failed to score in four of them. They've gone from one extreme to the other by scoring six goals in each of their last two games against minnows Sint-Eloois-Winkel in the Belgian Cup and Waregem in the league.
But whatever team Moyes sends out for the Irons, it's likely to be an entirely different prospect for Genk, who are currently in seventh place in their domestic league.
How the bookies view it
West Ham would presumably have been heavy odds-on if there wasn't a doubt about team selection and they are available at odds-against…just, at 41/40 with SBK.
The hosts can be backed at 29/10 with William Hill and the draw is 5/2 with Novibet.
Recent head to heads
West Ham eased to a bloodless victory when the sides met in the East End of London a couple of weeks ago, Here's the footage of the hosts's 3-0 win below.
Players to watch
Nigerian striker Ebere Onuachu has scored an impressive 12 goals in 17 games for his club this season despite a relatively disappointing campaign for Genk. He's 15/8 to score anytime with bet365.
Jarod Bowen has been in fine form recently and netted against both the Belgians in the previous game and in West Ham's 4-1 romp against Aston Villa on Sunday. He's 5/2 to score anytime with Unibet.
Anything else catch the eye?
It's last chance saloon time for Genk after just one win in three in this group and they should at least be facing a slightly depleted Hammers if Moyes opts for rotation.
However, West Ham have real squad depth this season, confidence must be coursing through the club and they are flying. The chance to back them at odds-against looks too good to turn down.
They've also conceded one goal in five and although Genk have hit the goal trail recently, it was against very modest opposition and they seem to struggle to score against better opposition, West Ham to win to nil is 29/10 with BetVictor.
