Two former UEFA Champions League winners (UCL) face off in the last 16 of this season's competition as Feyenoord welcome Inter Milan to De Kuip in the first leg.
The hosts triumphed in 1970 in what was a golden period for Dutch football, as Ajax then went on to win three consecutive UCL titles straight after. However, there has only been one winner from the Netherlands since – Ajax again in 1995.
As recent history has shown, Feyenoord will be underdogs this time around, although they will take some encouragement from beating Inter's neighbours AC Milan in the knockout play-off round, beating them 2-1 on aggregate.
Inter themselves avoided the play-offs by finishing fourth in the league phase, sending them straight through to the last 16.
The Italians have won the UCL three times, most recently in 2010 under Jose Mourinho.
Both teams are unbeaten in their last three games domestically heading into this one, so both will feel that they can get a positive result.
How the bookies view it: Inter huge favourites
Inter are odds-on favourites to win the first leg at 11/20 with BoyleSports. The same bookmaker has a draw priced at 3/1 and a Feyenoord win at 4/1.
Recent head-to-head: First meeting in 23 years
Feyenoord and Inter have only ever played each other twice before, in the UEFA Cup semi-finals in 2002. Feyenoord won the first leg 1-0 at San Siro, and drew the second leg 2-2 on home turf to go through to the final, where they beat Borussia Dortmund 3-2 to lift the trophy.
Players to watch: Can Carranza fill Gimenez void?
Feyenoord sold star striker Santiago Gimenez to AC Milan before playing them in the UCL, and the Mexican scored against them. It did not cost the Dutch side in the end, but they will now be relying on striker Julian Carranza, who only has one UCL goal this season.
Inter have a much more reliable marksman in their ranks in Lautaro Martinez, who boasts five UCL goals so far. Two of those were opening goals, and BoyleSports have him at 4/1 to be the first goalscorer in this game.
Predicted lineups
Calvin Stengs, Facundo Gonzalez, In-Beom Hwang, Jakub Moder and Justin Bijlow all miss out for Feyenoord with injury, while Givairo Read is suspended.
For Inter, Carlos Augusto, Nicolas Zalewski, Yann Sommer and Matteo Darmian are all out injured.
Feyenoord: Wellenreuther, Hartman, Trauner, Hancko, Smal, Milambo, Beelen, Ivanusec, Hadj Moussa, Carranza, Paixao.
Inter: J Martinez, Pavard, Acrbi, Bastoni, Dumfries, Barella, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco, Thuram, L Martinez.
Anything else catch the eye?
The previous five matches in all competitions for both Feyenoord and Inter have produced just six and nine goals respectively, so we can expect a low-scoring affair. Under 2.5 total goals is at 21/20 odds with BoyleSports.
Inter were the meanest defence in the UCL league phase with just one goal conceded in eight games. They are at 13/10 with BoyleSports to keep yet another clean sheet.
