The Manchester Derby tops the bill this weekend, KevMac takes a closer look at that and the other matches in the Premier League.

Manchester City v Manchester United

IT’S says everything about how the Premier League season has panned out that Manchester United head into tomorrow’s derby as 6/1 outsiders.

Manchester City’s amazing run of 21 victories on the spin at home and abroad has fuelled hopes of a glorious Quadruple.

Scooping every piece of silverware remains unlikely and you can get odds of 9/1 at Bet365 on a clean sweep.

But the Premier League is definitely a foregone conclusion with second-placed United now 14 points behind City.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men were great entertainers earlier in the season but they are now putting armchair fans to sleep.

United’s last three games have ended in 0-0 draws and that was also the score when these sides faced off at Old Trafford earlier in the league campaign.

Both teams to score hasn’t come up in the last four derbies so I fancy a repeat here, which is priced a decent 20/21 at McBookie.

City’s winning run has to end something and United’s counter-attacking style has got them some joy against Pep Guardiola’s men before.

So there might be some value in backing the Red Devils to avoid defeat, which pays 17-10 (Unibet).

Tottenham Hotspur v Crystal Palace

City might be romping clear at the top but there’s a real scrap for the other three Champions League slots.

Just nine points separates United from eighth-placed Tottenham and Spurs have a game in hand. After a horror run, Jose Mourinho’s men have recorded three successive wins to spark their season back to life.

They host Crystal Palace tomorrow and I fancy Tottenham to make it four in a row.

Spurs are just 4/9 with McBookie to win but doubling it with a clean sheet increases the odds to 13/10 and that bet has landed in their last three.

Gareth Bale has finally got a run of games and the Welshman is a generous 7/4 with Unibet for anytime scorer against Palace.

Aston Villa v Wolves

The pick of today’s games is a Midlands derby between Aston Villa and Wolves.

There was a frenzy of cards when Villa pinched a 1-0 win at Molineux earlier this term, with two reds and nine yellows flashed.

That was partly down to card-happy Mike Dean being in charge and he won’t be in the middle here.

But Craig Pawson also likes to assert his authority with five reds and 84 yellows dished out in his 23 games so far this season.

So I’m going for the card markets here, with over 3.5 cards 4/6 at McBookie and another sending-off priced 9/2 by William Hill.

Scotland star John McGinn is always in the thick of the action and he’s 7/2 (Bet365) for a card.

Burnley v Arsenal

I’d be surprised if we saw a lot of goals as Burnley host Arsenal and betting against BTTS is evens (SportNation).

Both Teams to Score

In the lower leagues my BTTS double is Oxford v Charlton and Wigan v MK Dons (23/10, Mansionbet)

Super Singles

  • BTTS no in Manchester derby (20/21, McBookie)
  • Spurs win to nil (13/10, McBookie)
  • John McGinn to be carded (7/2, Bet365)

BTTS Double

  • Oxford v Charlton and Wigan v MK Dons (23/10, Mansionbet)
