FRIDAY was a no-bet day for me as I concentrated on Saturday's card and I've got some tips from the Betfred Cup.
It's the final round of group games and most of the eight sections have gone to the wire.
I'll post a separate preview where my tips are reasoned and I'll put up the first antepost article for anyone wanting to add their thoughts there.
The Super Single is Dundee -2 at home to Brechin who lost 7-1 to Dunfermline in midweek and remember they didn't win a Championship match last season. A big Dundee win could give them top spot in their group. Dundee -1 features on the Top Treble.
Well done to any winners on Friday and unfortunately that didn't include Greg as the first round of French Ligue 2 produced fewer goals than expected but it's early days.
As well as the Betfred Cup there are games in plenty of minor leagues such as Belgium, Switzerland, Ireland and in Scandinavia so plenty for people to look at. There are also Champions Cup games with the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea in action and Man United facing Liverpool but these are tough to call, certainly before seeing line-ups.

The Yokohama game is off mate. Only 5 of today’s scheduled J-League games are still on, due to the really bad weather conditions in Japan right now (30 died & thousands hospitalised due to extreme heatwave, and now they’re being battered by a typhoon). For my Allvenskan picks, I’ve basically picked two fixtures where we both teams are defensively really poor, and all stats point towards goals.

For my MLS picks, Red Bulls are in form, super strong at home all season, and face a shaky looking Columbus Crew side. I anticipate a strong showing from the home side, led by their goal scoring talisman, Bradley Wright-Phillips, who I expect to score yet again.
I’ve coupled this one with what I expect to see as a goal-fest between defensively inept Kansas & Dallas. Kansas in particular is really bad defensively, but can score against almost anyone, with most of their games going overs (6 of their last 7).
