FRANCE have yet to hit their stride at Euro 2024 but will need to click into top gear when they face a dangerous Belgian side in the last 16 tonight
The French will be kicking themselves for finishing second in Group D behind Austria as it has left them in the tougher half of the draw.
They only have themselves to blame as a Poland side already eliminated came from behind to snatch a point in the final fixture.
Belgium won't be a pushover in perhaps the most high-profile last 16 tie, despite Kevin De Bruyne and Co failing to impress in a group that should have been a breeze for them.
After losing to Slovakia, the Belgians only just scraped through thanks to a win over Romania and a draw with Ukraine.
But they still have players who can cause France problems so this should be a decent watch.

Having Kylian Mbappe back after his broken nose was pretty much the only positive for France in their last outing against the Poles.
The superstar looks good value at 11/8 for anytime scorer as he had a few cracks at goal in that game as well as scoring from the spot. He's also 10/11 for two or more shots on target.
France haven't been blowing teams away so it could pay to back a tight game. The half-time draw pays evens while backing Les Bleus to win after an even first half boosts the odds to 18/5.
Belgian stopper Wout Faes can be a bit rash at times so he appeals at 5/2 for a booking.
Portugal vs Slovenia Top Tips
The other last-16 tie today doesn't offer the same kind of glamour as Slovenia look to upset Portugal.
The Portuguese were poor as they crashed 2-0 to Georgia but Roberto Martinez rested some big hitters with a last-16 slot already in the bag.
They'll be back at full strength today and Betfred make Portugal 1/3 hot favourites to win in 90 minutes.
Slovenia can be a tough nut to crack so backing Martinez's men to win after a level first half appeals at 11/4.
Bernardo Silva is one of the big guns who should return for Portugal and he's 11/8 for a shot on target.
USA v Uruguay Top Tips
There's a late-night cracker at the Copa America as the hosts bid to avoid an early exit against red-hot Uruguay.
A 2-1 defeat to Panama has left the Yanks in trouble as only a win over the Group C leaders will guarantee a quarter-final slot.
A draw won't be enough if Panama beat Bolivia so the USA need to go for it. That bodes well for goals and over 2.5 strikes pays 11/10.
Home hopes will be pinned on Folarin Balogun and he's 21/10 for anytime scorer.

Willie, I’ve been playing around with this market since the tournament started. In the first round, I placed smallish stakes bet builders of: 3+ SOT each team & 2 goalkeeper saves each team
IIRC, the hit rate was over 80% – although this has dropped in the knockout games (so far).
Including the team SOTs produces quite an uplift in returns, as opposed to just having the saves.
Logic: Most games result in goals, so there are usually far more SOTs than goalkeeper saves. Plus, goalkeeper saves are actually a more risky market than simple team shots on target (reason: a lot of shots on target get stopped by defenders, so are not counted as goalkeeper saves. However, EVERY goalkeeper save must ALSO be a shot on target – if that makes sense?)
If you take your bet of France goalkeeper 2+ saves, Belgium goalkeeper 3+ saves you currently get odds of 2.34.
If you include an extra SOT for each, you get:
Belgium 3+ SOTs, France goalkeeper 2+ saves, France 4+ SOTs, Belgium goalkeeper 3+ saves – you get odds of 2.84
This is quite an increase in returns, for not much additional exposure.
