Monday’s Football Tips: In form Falkirk should grab a few goals and avoid a Scottish Cup shock

The Scottish Cup third round threw up a few surprises over the weekend but it would be a major shock if Championship leaders Falkirk slipped up at East Kilbride tonight.

Kilby are looking to spring their third cup upset of the season, with the Lowland League side having already knocked League One Cove and second-tier Airdrie out of the SPFL Trust Trophy.

But while the Diamonds are rooted to the bottom of the Championship, Falkirk sit at the top of the pile and have lost just one of their last nine games.

John McGlynn's side have been playing some great stuff this term so they should have too much class for East Kilbride if they have the right attitude.

Gian Piero Gasperini's men battered Young Boys 6-1 in the Champions League last week and that made it 12 games unbeaten, with 10 of those matches ending in victories.

That has fired them up to second place and win tonight would cut the gap on Napoli to a point. So the 23/20 on offer at Kwiff for another Atalanta win looks decent value.

Sevilla vs Osasuna top betting tips

Sevilla find themselves underachieving once more in La Liga and desperately need a win against Osasuna tonight to fire them up the table.

Inconsistency has been the biggest problem as Sevilla haven't managed to string back-to-back victories together in the league all season.

But they have the chance to do that tonight after a 1-0 win over Rayo Vallecano last time out ended a two-game losing run.

It won't be easy against an Osasuna side sitting in eight place, four points ahead of their hosts. Vincente Moreno's men have taken just a point from their last two games but the fixtures have been tough, with a visit to the Bernabeu followed by a home game against Villarreal.

They will be a tough nut to crack so I fancy the half-time draw tonight at 24/25 with Kwiff. Osasuna picked up six yellow cards in their last game so I also fancy them for most bookings tonight at 21/20.
