Manchester United fans must just be wishing the season was over. Just two wins in their last 11 matches is dire stuff and a top six finish looks like the best they can hope for following wins for Spurs and Arsenal yesterday.
The good news is there's only three games to go for the Red Devils including tonight's home match against Brentford, followed by trips to Brighton and Crystal Palace. Nine points must be the aim in order to secure a top six finish.
Despite reaching the 40 point mark Brentford aren't yet mathematically safe and with teams below them picking up vital points at the weekend they could do with another three points on the board in order to breathe a bit more easily.
The Bees are finishing the season in tremendous form and have won a hugely impressive 16 points from the last 21 available, including a 4-1 victory at Stamford Bridge which suggests they're more than capable of winning against a below-par United at Old Trafford at 7/2.
It's near impossible to justify a bet on United (8/11), a team lacking in confidence and any sense of direction but Ronaldo is their X-Factor and he's been the man to bail them out time after time this season. His 23 league goals is a fantastic return and he's 4/5 to net again tonight.
Brentford are even money on the Double Chance market but a slightly better 2.100 (11/10) with +0.5 of start on the Asian Handicap which is the same bet.
The Caddy hit the bar with his headline tip this week. Tony Finau finished T2 in Mexico, just one shot behind winner Jon Rahm but still delivered some nice each-way money for those that backed him at 25/1. Can't win them all!

For example, I just checked William Hill’s NORMAL online GIBH prices and GIBH for all 11 National League games this afternoon is 510/1.
Sky is offering you just 201/1 – which is 60% LESS than Hills for exactly the same thing.
Or, putting it another way, say you are putting a tenner on at Sky. You could put EXACTLY the same bet at Hills online for just £4 and keep £6 in your pocket.

I had a look at the Greek websites and spoke to a couple of friends. Ionikos is safe and missing 3 players, so perhaps they won’t be that bothered today. Apollon Smyrnis are fighting to avoid relegation, got 7 points in the last 3 games and they are only 1 point below Lamia, who they play against at home next week. That’s the main reason for those odds, though they still look quite strange.
In Greece the bottom club is relegated and the second bottom faces a second Division club in the play-offs, so that’s what Apollon is trying to do.

I very nearly went with Vikingur 7+ corners (10/11 with Skybet) in their home game v Stjarnan but I’ve decided to go with KA instead. Fingers crossed I’ve chosen correctly!
Kevlavik are a very poor side. They narrowly avoided relegation last season and have started this season very badly. They sit bottom of the league after losing all 3 games.
In their 2 away games they’ve only managed to hit 4 corners (3 at Breidablik and only 1 at Vikingur). In those 2 away games they conceded 8 corners each time. It could have been many more and they lost each game 4-1. I can see another heavy defeat for Keflavik tonight with plenty of attacking opportunities for KA. I actually watched Keflavik’s last game at Vikingur and they could barely string 2 passes together and spent almost the entire 90 mins on the back foot.
KA are a good side. They finished 4th last season and are 2/2 this season. They hit 7 corners at home last time out against mid table Leiknir and I’m backing them to do the same again against a Kevlavik team who were absolutely abysmal last time out at Vikingur.
I was really close with choosing Akureyrar -2.5 corner handicap at 10/11 on Skybet but have decided on them hitting 7+ corners. This fixture last season saw KA get 8 corners overall with their 7th coming in the 50th minute. Keflavik have managed a few late late corners when the game is long gone, hence why I’ve gone for 7 KA corners over the corner handicap option but I like both almost equally if I’m honest.

I’ve given plenty of stats on the other write up for the KA v Keflavik bet. One more thing I’ll say is the -2 handicap bet would have landed in all of Keflavik’s away games this year and in KA’s solo home fixture. The corner count in Keflavik’s away games were 8-1 and 8-3, easily beating the -2 corner handicap. KA’s solo home fixture corner count was 7-4 with the away side getting a couple of late corners to make it look more even than it was but again beating the -2 corner handicap.
On to Vikingur. They are the early pace setters when it comes to corners. They’ve scored an incredible 29 corners in their 3 games this season, averaging 9.6. At home they’ve hit 8 and 11 corners. This bet has landed after 45 and 60 mins respectively in those previous 2 home games.
Stjarnan have only had 1 away game this season and they conceded 7 corners against lowly Leiknir.
