Mark Walker's Scottish Tips

MONTROSE have gone under the radar in the League One title race but they are motoring along nicely and can inflict more pain on Annan Athletic.

Stewart Petrie's side are priced at a very tempting 6/4 with McBookie.com to win at Galabank and continue a decent run of form.

They've won against Dumbarton and Stenhousemuir and were seconds away from beating an Alloa side who look like they will be up challenging for the title.

Kane Hester has netted in each of his last three games and looks to be one of the best strikers in the league.

They play an Annan side who are beginning to show signs they will really struggle to hang on to their third tier status. They've collected one point from a possible 18 in the last six games and netted just twice too.

Although they are undoubtedly better at home, Montrose should have too much for them and the loss of Tommy Muir after last week's red card won't help Annan either.

Hibs look a solid shout at 11/10 to beat Motherwell at Easter Road with McBookie.com.

David Gray endured a fairly torrid time at the start of his managerial stint at the club in which he holds legendary status for that winner in the 2016 Scottish Cup Final which ended a 114-year wait.

But there are signs he is learning on the job in recent weeks and performances have significantly improved.

None more so than last week at Ibrox where they certainly deserved at least a point in a 1-0 defeat to Rangers where they missed a penalty and a host of chances.

Junior Hoilett was terrific for Aberdeen last season and already looks like he will provide the same impetus with Hibs.

It certainly won't be easy against a Motherwell side on a fine run of form after four wins from five, although three of them were at Fir Park.

But Hibs have actually assembled a good squad and can use home advantage to get the win.

Queen's Park have hit a good run of form and can beat Hamilton Accies at Hampden at McBookie.com's 20/21.

Callum Davidson has overseen a fine run of form where they have beaten Morton and Dunfermline and drew with title challengers Ayr United.

They are very solid defensively and face an Accies side who have only won once away in six this season in all competitions.

And the Spiders can continue their good run with another win.
