ELGIN CITY look a solid shout to add to Stirling Albion's misery when they clash on Saturday.
Allan Hale has been in charge of Elgin for just over a year now and has done a fine job transforming a team who were battling against being Scottish football's bottom placed side to one that is now challenging for promotion from League Two.
A lot of that is down to their home form and they have certainly turned Borough Briggs into something of a fortress having won four games and drawn the other two in the league this season, including two recent wins in a row against Forfar Athletic and, impressively, Kelty Hearts of League One in the Scottish Cup.
They are up against a Stirling team who were tipped to be challengers this term after last season's relegation.
But it's all gone wrong for the Binos recently and last week's home humbling from Edinburgh City was their fifth defeat in a row including a penalty shootout Scottish Cup loss to Forfar Atheltic.
A home win at 20/21 seems decent value.
Alloa Athletic are keeping tabs with shock League One leaders Stenhousemuir and should have too much for Montrose at the Indodrill Stadium at 11/10.
The Wasps were on something of a sticky spell with a few one-goal defeats, but that coincided with a run of four away games in a row.
Last week, they produced a fine performance to win in Fife against Kelty Hearts and will want to push on now.
They face a Montrose side who may take some time to get over a disastrous defeat last week where they were 2-0 up at half time against Inverness….only to eventually lose 3-2 by conceding two goals in the last two minutes.
They also conceded an injury time goal to Alloa at Links Park the last time the sides met. Alloa can get the better of the sides here in Clackmannanshire.
Edinburgh City continue to be written off despite an excellent recent run and they could spring a small surprise by winning at Stranraer at a big price of 14/5.
The capital side have regrouped after last season's crisis campaign where there were grave doubts about the club's future and they've now won four out of five games including that impressive 3-0 mauling of Stirling Albion away.
They also won at Peterhead in their last away game and face a Stranraer team who have won just one league game at Stair Park this term.
