Mark Walker's Scottish Tips

Aberdeen have come out of their nightmare slump and seem to have turned the corner.

And they could have too much for St Johnstone when they travel to Perth on Saturday.

The Dons have had a rollercoaster of a season after an incredible start where they won their first 13 games in a row under new boss Jimmy Thelin.

They then went from one extreme to the other when they went a club record 14 games without a league win

However, after a good January transfer window and a change of personnel in key positions, they seem to have come through it and look primed for a battle with Hibs and Dundee United for third place.

They have some creativity in the middle of the park and their wingers are back on form.

And perhaps key to it all is Kevin Nisbet rediscovering his scoring form and finding the target consistently. He is now on double figures for the season and he's won an international recall with Scotland.

Saints are in a relegation battle and have certainly recovered after looking certainties for the drop.

But they were outplayed for long spells in their Scottish Cup win at Championship Livingston and the Dons can claim the points at 13/10 with McBookie.com.

Kilmarnock are in danger of being dragged into a relegation dogfight, but manager Derek McInnes is a master at pulling some big results out of the bag and they can end the Hibs revival at Rugby Park.

Killie have lost their last three games and that's highly unusual for them. You can be sure McInnes will have prepared some plan to get points on the board. It might not be pretty, but he will have something up his sleeve.

Hibs of course have been in brilliant form recently and they can be forgiven their recent excellent run coming to an end in the Scottish Cup last week at Celtic.

But the Easter Road side haven't won on their last four visits to Rugby Park and it isn't their favourite venue.

This is a must-win game for Killie really and they can get the job done at McBookie.com's 6/4.

Spartans look too big at 13/8 with McBookie.com to win at struggling Forfar Athletic.

The capital side are unbeaten in their last five games and have only conceded two goals in that time.

Forfar have won their last two games, but it's at their Station Park home that's the problem – they have lost their last three there and have only won twice at home all season.
