ANOTHER full midweek of Scottish Premiership fixtures and some others in the lower leagues.
And Tuesday's Edinburgh derby between Hearts and Hibs already looks like it could be a seismic game in the race for the title.
Hearts' title hopes took a severe dent after they lost at St Mirren and perhaps even more importantly, they had key defender Craig Halkett sent off and he is now suspended for this crunch clash.
That means Hearts will be missing three essential players for them – Halkett, captain Lawrence Shankland and star man Cammy Devlin.
They face a Hibs team who travel a short distance to Gorgie on a high after a fantastic comeback win at home to Dundee United.
Hibs were trailing 2-1 in the dying embers of the game, only to score two goals and win it at the death.
It's tempting to back Hibs on the double chance market at 10/11 for a draw or a win, but David Gray's side do have a lot of new faces and we can't be certain how they will react to the atmosphere.
Preference is for both teams to score and a tasty 20/23 with McBookie.com. Hibs have plenty of goalscoring performers and Hearts are always dangerous with Claudio Braga as well as their set-piece capabilities.
Motherwell vs Rangers predictions
It's a sign of the respect Motherwell have earned these days by the fact they are ‘only' 5/2 to beat Rangers at Fir Park on Wednesday.
Previously, you could easily triple that price or more for a home win.
But it's a price that will have plenty of interest from punters and could be good value.
We've been banging on all season about how good this Well side are and they are even more dangerous at Fir Park.
Rangers have been on a good run under Danny Rohl and demolished Queen's Park 8-0 in the Scottish Cup at the weekend.
But they are now the same side on their travels and looked leggy and out of ideas in their last away game at Easter Road against Hibs.
Motherwell play with no fear and are enjoying a constant goal threat. They are crying out to be backed at this price with bet365.
Annan Athletic vs Dumbarton prediction
In the lower leagues, Annan Athletic have to be backed to beat Dumbarton at evens with William Hill in League Two on Tuesday – the same league we got a winner in the only game that survived from the weekend column.
Having watched the Sons on Saturday put in a truly abject performance at Forfar Athletic, it can truly be said they are probably the worst team we've seen all season.
Their fans made it perfectly clear they aren't impressed with manager Frank McKeown and they are not in a happy place and seem to be sleepwalking towards a play-off spot.
Annan haven't lost a home league game since September and that was the same month that Dumbarton last won an away game.
