Mark Walker's Scottish Tips

Arbroath are poised for a Saturday night party and they can clinch the League One title with a win against Stenhousemuir at a very decent 17/20 with McBookie.com.

What was the tightest league in the country has turned into a procession for the Red Lichties, who are now 11 points clear after their title rivals all dropped away.

They have a chance to seal it in style in front of the cameras on Saturday with Stenny visiting Gayfield.

And they shuld have too much for Gary Naysmith's side who have lost form at the wrong time.

Arbroath's last defeat was actually against Stenny back in February and there's a bit of bad blood between the teams.

Since then, Arbroath have won six out of eight games and drawn the other two.

Stenny are punching well above their weight and have enjoyed an excellent season, but they are faltering now after two poor home defeats including a 4-1 hammering from Alloa last week.

Alloa caught the eye last week with that impressive win at Ochilview and they are still in the hunt for a play-off spot in League One too.

And they can consolidate that with a win at evens with McBookie.com against Annan Athletic.

The Wasps have struggled for consistency this season and really should be higher than fifth place. But there were plenty of signs last week they are ready for a push towards the end of the season.

Allloa have won three games out of three against Annan this season and walloped them 5-0 on their last visit to the Indodrill. They also won a remarkable 4-3 topsy-turvy encounter at Galabank last month.

Annan are still battling for survival to avoid a play-off spot but the hosts should have too much for them.

Stirling Albion have probably given themselves too much to do to steal a play-off spot in League Two, but they are finishing a disappointing season on a high.

And they can get the better of Stranraer at McBookie.com's 7/5.

The Binos have been very strong at home recently and have won five of their last six games at Forthbank with the only setback coming against league leaders Peterhead.

They've also won their last two games against in-form Edinburgh City and Elgin City.

Survival was Stranraer's aim this season after last term's great escape and they have comfortably managed that.

But they have lost three in a row and it could be four on Saturday.
