PORTUGAL have brought the best and worst out of teams in Euro 2016.

Their 3-3 draw with Hungary was game of the tournament while their last-16 defeat of Croatia was the worst in recent memory.

So it's difficult to know what to expect in their last-eight clash with Poland tonight.

I fear we'll get more Croatia than Hungary so a draw and unders game could be in the offing.

Portugal have drawn all four games in 90 minutes while Poland have never netted more than one goal in 10 games at the finals. This campaign it's been two 1-0 wins, a 0-0 draw and a 1-1 draw before beating Switzerland on penalties.

In a game that's tough to call I have to back the draw in 90 minutes at 2-1 with McBookie and Ladbrokes and under 2.5 goals at 4-9 with Ladbrokes.

Portugal are 13-10 favourites at Betfred while Poland are a biggest 3-1 at McBookie and William Hill.

Poland have only conceded one goal in four games – Xherdan Shaqiri's wonderful overhead kick – and it's so tight a penalty shoot-out at 4-1 with bet365 could be the shout.

Portugal are unbeaten in 11 competitive matches under Fernando Santos and are 7-12 at 888sport to make the semis for the fifth in seven attempts while the Poles are 6-4 with bet365 to earn a first last-four place.The star men for their respective countries – Cristiano Ronaldo and Robert Lewandowski – have had poor tournaments but at least Ronaldo has scored (twice v Hungary).

He is 7-5 at McBookie to net again and equal Michel Platini's record of nine in the finals while Lewandowski is 13-5 with the Scots firm.

Jakub Blaszczykowski has been involved in all five of Poland's goals in the last two Euro finals and is 13-2 at bet365 to net his third of the tournament.
