NORTHERN IRELAND continue to impress under Michael O'Neill and now they have a goal machine in the shape of Liam Boyce.

The Premiership's top scorer raised his profile even more with the winner in last week's friendly against New Zealand and is set to start with James Ward and Conor Washington unavailable.

Boyce's goal came in Belfast and the Irish are much better on home soil than on their travels and won't get it easy against Azerbaijan who beat Norway in their previous qualifier in Baku.

However, the Irish won 4-0 at home and should at least avoid defeat. They are 13-10 with bet365 to win and 1-2 at McBookie not to lose which is worth taking on accumulators. Boyce is 13-2 at bet365 to score first and 17-5 to net at any time.

O'Neill's men have conceded just twice in Group C and 14 of their last 16 away matches have featured fewer than three goals. Under 2.5 looks a cert but it pays just 4-9 at Ladbrokes.

O'Neill's men sit second in Group C – five points Germany who have won five out of five and netted 20 goals.

They will hammer San Marino but by how many? It was 8-0 away so six or seven has to be the starting point and bookies know it.

Difficult to find any value here with the goal line set at seven. So if you think the Germans can win by eight or more again take 10-11 at bwin.

Their there matches against San Marino have been won by an aggregate of 27-0 but an experimental team has been named. It lacks experience but is full of hungry, young players aiming to impress.

Norway are already also-rans and the Czech Republic will fancy picking up the points in Oslo as they try to catch the Irish. They are unbeaten in five and a best 2-1 at Ladbrokes.

Group E leaders Poland can virtually clinch their finals place by beating Romania at home. The Poles have dropped just two points and have a six-point lead over Montenegro and Denmark.

Poland are a biggest 1-2 at McBookie and 8-5 at Paddy Power to win by two or more having triumphed 3-0 in Bucharest. Goal machine Robert Lewandowski is 5-2 at Paddy Power to score first.

Montenegro have netted in their last three and lost them all so consider both to score when Armenia – who have bagged 10 in three games including a 3-2 home success against today's rivals – so look at both to score at 27-20 with 888sport or both to score at 13-10 with Marathonbet.
