JAPAN v POLAND

Live on BBC 2. Thursday June 28, kick-off 3pm

JAPAN know a point will be enough to clinch a last-16 spot and defeat could also seal the deal depending on the result of Colombia v Senegal.

A Japanese victory will likely send them through as Group H winners and they face a Poland side who only have pride at stake after a hugely disappointing campaign.

The Poles will make a few changes, including a recall for key defender Kamil Glik after injury, and will hope to bow out on a high with a goal or two. They possess enough firepower in Robert Lewandowski and Arkadiusz Milik to get on the scoresheet, particularly if bombscare Japan keeper Eiji Kawashaimi keeps his place.

Both Poland's games so far have had over 2.5 goals, making it 12 in a row including all their qualifying matches, and Japan's two outings so far have gone btts and over 2.5.

Shinji Kagawa potted a penalty in Japan's opening win over Colombia and the Borussia Dortmund attacker is a value punt to break the deadlock for the Blue Samurai who have been a surprise package of the tournament with their attack-minded style.
