STICKING in Iceland for two cup games that look to hold a bit of value.
Kari v Vikingur (8.15pm)
Urvalsdeild side Vikigur are the clear favourites and stand around 1-5 on – they really ought to be winning this agsinst a Kari side who were playing three divisions below them last season but I’m not convinced by their recent form.
Vikingur have played six but having won their opener they are now five without a win after three draws and two losses – tracking back further over the last season they have conceded in 38 of their last 46 matches!
Kàri have hit life in 2 Deild in a decent run of form after a successful promotion bid – they have totalled nine points from one loss and three successive wins.
Can they win? Probably not. Can they score? I reckon so.
- Both to score & over 2.5 goals (20-21)
FH v KA (7pm)
This tie is a prelude to the league game taking place next week and I’ve highlighted FH’s inability to keep a clean sheet – this could be another banana skin for the hosts.
I won’t trot out the stats again but they are very telling as is the fact KA have scored in all three of the last H2Hs in Hafnarfjordur.
- Both to score & over 2.5 goals (6-5)

- Both to score & over 2.5 goals double (33-10)
