Joeybottles was the sole winner at Bangor, winning by ten lengths on his chasing debut.

Thewoodcorner was supported in the market, but took an eternity to get rolling, and looks in need of even further.

Heltenham was backed like defeat was out of the question, but wasn't good enough to land a blow. Harry Skelton did his best impression of Mission Impossible with the ride, but I don't think the horse was ever going to win.

Cerendipity 10/1 – Carlisle 4.27

Cerendipity doesn't win all too often, but he is now becoming well-handicapped. His last win came off a handicap mark of 122, which is 5lbs higher than today's handicap mark.

His last two wins came around this time of year, so he might be another Langer Dan, where he likes to run his best races when the sun comes out.

This season hasn't been terrible, despite not winning any races. He has recorded an RPR of 122 and 123 on three occasions, so a similar performance to that could see him go very close.

Sweet Nightingale 4/1 – Exeter 3.37

If this race were to be on a testing surface, I'd be more than happy to take another chance on Fortunefavorsdbold, but it's not so Sweet Nightingale gets my vote.

My selection is still unexposed as a stayer and ran well last time out. He does his best runs on good ground, so everything points towards a good performance.

His run last time out behind Battailon and another progressive chaser looks like a solid piece of form.

Got A Dream 5/2 – Exeter 4.47

Nicky Martin is having the season of his life. He has had 9 winners this year from 22 runners, which equals a 41% strike rate. He remains in good form, with his only runner in the last fortnight being a winner.

I think they've put Got A Dream away over the winter, as he runs well on good ground. The time away from the track isn't a concern, as we've seen Nicky ready a winner from a layoff many times before.

This horse arrives in good form from when we last saw him, winning on his last two starts.

Henriettaredheart 15/8 – Exeter 5.22

This race is for amateur riders, so it's not a race I'd like to get involved in, but this horse looks interesting for Stuart Kittow.

This mare won a two-mile PTP race, so we know she has plenty of speed, which will be suited to a bumper scenario. These races aren't run at great tempos, so knowing my selection has the speed to win over the minimum trip is a great asset.

Mr Zac Baker is booked for the ride, and he is one of the better jockeys in the race for these types of races.
