It was a typical Saturday of racing. Competitive as ever and hard to find the winners.
Pogo ran a better race but just wasn't good enough on the day and Adjuvant grabbed a place which would of resulted in you at least covering your stake with a slight profit on the returns but nothing to get excited about. A prime example on why I'll happily take 5 or 6/1 each way in races such as that.
There's some nice racing on at the Curragh tomorrow but it's very open and I'm not getting to involved but I do have one selection that I think will appreciate the step up to 6f.
His Majesty 3/1 – 13:50 Curragh
I really fancy the chances of His Majesty in this.
He brings in some nice recent form with a 4th place finish behind Valiant Force in the Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot over the 5f.
I rewatched that particular race and in my opinion and in a lot of others he was the best horse in that race and probably only lost on the day due to being drawn on the opposite side as he flew home making up some serious ground beating everything on his side of the pack very easily. If drawn on the side of the eventual winner I think he wins that race but as always this is a sport of opinions is it?
I'll admit when I saw Ryan Moore opting for the other O'Brien runner – unquestionable ( Also looks a nice sort ) I was a bit sceptical on whether to stick him up but I've opted to go with my gut.

Michael tabor said after epsom he is ruling out the st leger and if all goes well today the arc and breeders cup are possibilities.

If he wins in any manner today they would be daft not to go for the arc then I guess he’ll go to stud I’d he wins that with his middle distance record unblemished.

So early . I Hate just retiring horses so early for that to it’s ridiculous and I don’t know much about it but must be something to do with age and amount of racing before stud ? 🤷♂️
Why folk loved Enable and Stadavarious etc but it’s pretty poor if it’s just money and being able to say about the horses record when selling it’s offspring.
What was horse last year skipped Arc to try keep unblemished record and got humped in Ireland? 😂 🖕

All started so well in USA then in the end 7 horses and 2 winners. Not ONE in my Canadian which i had high hopes for!

Apart from the 2 I put up for the Plate that both placed it was a disappointing day with some very poor performances from my selections so fingers crossed today goes a bit better.
I’m not doing anything today, so I’m just going to sit and enjoy the racing and have a little interest in each race.
1.50 Unquestionable 2/1
Difficult to know who will come out on top here and many times the AOB 2nd or even 3rd string comes out on top, but Ryan Moore has been in great form of late and I will go with him being the difference today.
2.25 Twilight Jet 22/1 ew
Has not been running well but is a group winner and has been running at the highest level most of career and takes a step down to listed class today and I just can’t resist at the prices.
Commanche Falls will be difficult to beat though but evs money is just too short.
3.00 Silmaniya 11/1 ew 6 places pp
Was beaten 2 1/4L by Run Run Run lto but his race was over before it started having dwelt at the start. A 5lb swing in the weights can certainly help.
3.40 Up and Under 13/2 ew 3 places w/o fav.
Taking a chance that UAU can reverse form with both Sprewell and White Birch as the ground was heavy when beaten by both. Sounder surface today will hopefully help but have gone ew just incase
4.15 Farnborough 13/2 ew 6 places
Another AOB horse running in h’caps that will probably end up in pattern company.
4.50 Adelaise 9/2
Both Adelaise and Yerwanthere ran in the Kensington Palace at RA with both a little unlucky but Adelaise finished a short head in front of Yerwanthere and at the prices I’ve taken her to do so again today
5.25 Salt Lake City 3/1
Difficult to know if he can concede 5lbs to the fav but ran really well on reappearance only going down by a head to a race fit rival rated 100. Should have blown away the cobwebs and will be race fit today.
6.00 My Mate Mozzie 8/1 ew 4 places
Fav will probably win and this is a bit short of optimum for Mozzie but he’s been dropped a pound since his last run on the flat and I was waiting for him to pop up at RA but it didn’t happen. Just think he’ll give a good showing today

As Cairnzy kinda mentioned regarding Her Majesty’s last furlong,the time was very good. Another furlong as he says and the track sways it for me ,just hope Moore has made wrong decision.
