My slight concern is that the going may have turned slightly against the horse.
Agree with Rizzel , my bet is Solo , but Allmankind will be the dangerous , G luck .

Not a strong selection but has been very impressive in his 3 wins to date.
I think Solo is a bit of a hype horse and his OR rating of 157 is an absolute joke. That’s 3lbs ahead of Envoi Allen ????.
I do think the English 4yr olds are ahead of the Irish.
2.10 Aramon 12/1 ew Mohaayed 12/1 ew (saver)
Backed him as soon as the weights came out. 149 for a Grade 1 winner. !!
Has had a very quiet campaign I’m sure with this race in mind
The Skeltons cant be ignored either having won this race 3 of the last 4 years and Mohaayed won it in 2018 and is just 3lbs higher today.
2.50 Fury Road 14/1 ew NAP
All over this horse. Needs a real test of stamina which he’ll get here.
Willing to forgive his last run as hes run twice at Leopardstown and failed miserably both times.
Maybe it’s just not his track.
His sire Oscar has had 3 previous winners in this race
3.30 Gold Cup
Really tough to call and I wouldn’t put anyone backing any horse in the race.
I’m going for 2 at ew prices
Presenting Percy 12/1 and Monalee 22/1 4 places.
Percy was fav last year but had an awful prep for the race and returned lame. At 9 it’s his last chance. Hes had a better prep this year without being overworked surely with this race in mind.
Monalee has been wrapped in cotton wool since Christmas. I’m just curious to see how he gets on over this trip and worth a small ew at the price.
All Boum Photo is the right fav. Hes had a light campaign and will arrive a fresh horse which can only benefit. Can make the odd blunder though and my heart would be in my mouth coming to each fence and at my age it’s just not healthy.
Santini will stay but I just think hes slow and needs to find lots to win.
And the form the Tizzard yard has been in this week, I just cant have Lostintranslation
4.10 Shantou Flyer 10/1 ew
Never runs a bad race. 2nd last year and has 4L to find with the winner, but Hazel Hill is now 12 and hopefully he can turn the tables.
4.50 Croco Bay 28/1 ew
Again not a strong selection but won the race last year and 5th in 2018 is just too big a price too ignore.
5.30 Front View 4/1
Will go for last years winning connections and looks to have been laid out for the race.

Santini beat Bristol de mai 3 lengths at Cheltenham last time getting 2 pounds off Bristol, who made an error and pecked 3 out.
Level weights now.
Bristol 3rd last year and gave a match fit lostintranslation a serious race at haydock.

Santini been tipped by a load of pundits to win so Bristol shouldn’t be far behind.

I don’t believe it, my biggest bet of the meeting home and hosed and unseats at the last, reminds me of two years in a row I was on big on Latalomne 33’s and bigger in the Moscow Flyer era when he was cruising round Cheltenham and fell at the second last twice.
Always easy to say afterwards but if he had a look behind him before jumping the last he could have just popped over.

Posted my thoughts on the competition page and after a very disappointing run from Solo in the first have had 2 excellent winners on Saint Roi and Monkfish who ground that out there.
Can’t wait for the Gold Cup now and it’s all about Delta Work for me @ 11/2. Enjoy!
Delta was a mess from the 2nd fence. Very disappointing. Decent race but lacked the usual drama of the Gold Cup.
