A good couple days at Chester, with Ryan Moore once again riding like a man possessed as he won the Chester Cup. I had a decent day yesterday with two winners, and that could have possibly been three if Revich was given a slightly better ride, but I won't delve too deep into that one.
Lingfield 3:50
three year old's in this contest don't have the best of records, which surprises me as at this time of year the 3yo's get a decent chunk of weight from their elders (12lbs for this trip) and in my opinion it's enough to fancy a younger horse in this contest.
SYMPHONY PERFECT caught my eye as a horse who would appreciate this easy 7f trip at Lingfield. This filly was a good 2yo, shown by the fact she demolished a Class 1 Listed Fillies' race at Newmarket in October, winning by 2.5L, beating some good horses like Desert Dreamer who was placed in multiples Group races last year. That was over 6f and on good ground, and she won that effortlessly. This year she has started off at a decent level, with a 5th placed finish on seasonal reappearance over 7f at Newbury in a Group 3. I think that her petrol tank ran a little empty in the final furlong that race, which could've been down to fitness (first run of the season) or the trip on galloping track like Newbury caught her out. She then finished 2nd on the AW in a Listed Fillies' race, where she stayed on strongly over 6f, which gives the impression an easy 7f will up her street as she can have the pace to drag here into contention but also the stamina to stay on strongly. I really like the chances of this filly, but Jamie Spencer is riding. Jamie is a marmite jockey, I totally understand that, and he gets on my nerves as well. I'm not sure how they are going to ride her today. With Spencer being booked up you'd expect a hold-up ride, but she's has made the running before, so ideally I'd like to see Spencer go from the front, which he is a good judge of! People underestimate his ability as a front running jockey, as he is known as holding every horse out the back, but when he does front run he often gets it spot on. However, drawn widest in Stall 1 would suggest he is going to drop her in and play her late. Either way I think the odds available of around 11/2 are more than fair and I make her a bet at those odds.
Ascot 3:30
SERENADING should not be the biggest priced horse in the field in my opinion. The fact she is 12/1 makes her a belting EW bet.
This filly has ability, but things have to drop right for her to be seen to best effect. She met all sorts of trouble in running when running over this C&D last year, she struggled to find gaps despite travelling extremely well. She has had a fruitful winter, winning twice and being placed on a few occasions on the AW, which has seen her handicap mark go to 88 which makes life a little more difficult, but she will be fitter than most in this race and she gets the recent winning 1000 & 2000 Guineas winner, James Doyle doing the steering. I'll be amazed if she finds trouble in running in this race as the stalls are in the centre of the track, which generally means the horses will run straight down the middle, which should make it difficult for her to get trapped in and not get a run. I think she is being massively overlooked and is one of the best EW bets of the day at current prices.
Ascot 4:05
I tipped up DARKNESS on his second start for David O'Meara where he finished 4th/6 at Nottingham. I thought that was an average performance and thought he'd had to come down the handicap to get competitive to win a race but after seeing his latest run at Haydock where he finished 3rd/9 behind a well handicapped winner I think he could run a big race in this.
The drop back in trip seems a little unusual as he was staying on so strongly at Haydock over a mile, but the fact he is a strong stayer at the mile, the drop back to the stiff 7f that Ascot offers seems like it could work off perfectly. He is going to be off the bit earlier than most, but he should be staying on strongly when others are toiling. He is drawn in stall 22 which is seen to be a positive in this race, with four winners of this race being drawn in the 20s in the last 10 years. There is a fair bit of pace in this race, and there is a little bit of rain expected to arrive at Ascot, so the more of a stamina test it becomes, the better Darkness' chances are. This is obviously really competitive, and it wouldn't surprise me to see him drift in the market as there are plenty more horses in this race with sexier profiles, but he's a definite EW player in this.
Ascot 4:40
She's short enough in the market, but I was expecting to see her being a shade on odds-on, so the fact she's not makes AFTER THE RAIN a bet in this. She won nicely at Windsor last time out under a front running ride by William Buick. The form of that looks solid enough and she was put up 3lbs for that win, which is instantly negated by Harry Davies' 7lbs claim, so effectively she is 4lb better off than her latest win, which automatically makes her tough to beat. She'll be carrying 8st 1lbs, which is a full stone less than her nearest rival and is two stones less than the heaviest horse in the race. She won't have to improve much to win this, and the weight she carries makes her a big threat to all of them in this. This could be the nap of the day.

Rizzel I just want to say thanks for the tips this week mate great tipping👍 Do you ever do multiples with your selections or just stick to singles
Thanks Shepton.
I do small multiples, sometimes. Depending on how many selections I have in a day will decide whether I’ll do multiples.
Today for example I’ve done a small Yankee with the four horses, just in case they all come in, as well as a EW four fold (My mum’s ex boyfriend always did this and I’ve followed his ways), as if it lands it can pay big, if it doesn’t it’s a couple of quid i’ve lost and it’s not the end of the world.

Pretty poor in USA last night after a nice start. Nest at 14/1 Ew ante post stung a bit coming 2nd.
Just 14 on my tracker! Few in same races so be back with something.
Put up Zozos Ew at 33/1 for Kentucky Derby yesterday as he was 2 1/4 lengths 2nd to Epicentrer the current favourite last run so seems good value.
I’ve also Messier ante post at 16/1 but poor “prep run” although Peter Fornatale of ATR still likes his chances and he’s still 10/1.

Hope you went with Super Wilf tip Wycobe?
My heads in the USA mate I just went with the sites tips and my own/Rizzles After The Rain for UK.
Apologies as Strawberri was rotten!
I really should have looked and seen Soft Whispers Meydan form as a stand out.
Had £2 saver on it last minute but no use to you that.
CONCIERGE 25/1 in the last at Ascot, not ideal ground, but the price and female jockey dictates we are on.
🇺🇸🐎
Before I go insane in the old membrane I’m going with these in a Canadian and few singles.
Churchhill Downs -R5…In Italian 5/2(* made last run stepping up in a G3 look easy but up in class again)
R6…Dream Shake. 5/2(* same as above)
R7…Jack Christopher 6/4(be my NAP if pushed but 6/4 from lay off ain’t great)
R10….Jackies Warrior. 2/1(love this horse and can certainly win with G1 form but 2/1? Hopefully correct price but thought be bigger)
R11…Shirls Speight. 11/4(3 fine wins after lay off for this)
Kentucky Derby picks are above and still think Zozos now 40/1 is a crazy price with definite improvement to come after his run behind the favourite?
Probably toddle home 16h but hey.
Others missed the cut or just can’t back em all.
Put them up as some in same races as my Canadian of not backed all so just for forecast purposes etc. ’ll be doing a few for small stakes while watching.
R4…Bye Bye Bobby
R5…Speak Of The Devil.
R6…Shared Sense.
R7..Mr Prankster. 10/1. Ew
R8… Obligatory/Kimari possible R/Fc
Zandon/White Abarrio both Kentucky Derby
An just seen Exit Right runs at Philadelphia R10 at 5/2 going for SIX straight wins! 🤷♂️
Be skint by 2am!!?? 🏦 💣 😉
GL all if whatever you bet on if you bother.
I KNOW ‘Britains got Talent’(?) starts tonight but big gaps between races so you can catch a race or 3 I’m sure? 😉👍
Well done the winners today After The Rain squeaked it and Al Asay was my whack.
🇺🇸 Forecast there in R5 but In Italian must got spanked and I hope this ain’t a pattern but forecasts can save you.

Can save you in small fields I should say.
Never an easy thing of course!!

Hmmmm, it won 6-1 🏇
Churchhill-R7. 2 horses from my tracker and 1 I ditched from it in Pappacap so let’s go a combo tricast for £50p …£3 staked!
Really just do with Jack Christopher Christopher cruising it.
Yahtzee! 🎲
Combo tricast came in and Jack Christopher won so perfect result. Jackies Warrior easiest winner yet BUT looks like wrong combos with just one to go in my Canadian I had Obligatory and Speak Of The Devil and picked wrong or be 4/4 🤷♂️
