Cairnzy's Sunday selection didn't muster much threat to his opposition at Doncaster. It was a shame that he didn't run to how the market expected him to do as he was backed in from the advised 5/1 to 15/8F.
Rizzel's tips
Harjo 11/2 – Newcastle 4.30
This 3m chase around Newcastle isn't a fairly competitive race, which is why the favourite isn't a short one. At the prices, I thought that Harjo was being disrespected and he got my vote.
I can see why punters/bookies wouldn't want to get too involved with Harjo as he only won by a neck at Doncaster at the back end of January and he has gone up 3lbs, with the form of that race not looking the greatest.
However, a mark of 107 is not high enough for him to be halted in his attempts to land a second win in a row. He has previously won off 112 and been placed off 119, so 107 is definitely a workable mark and arguably still very dangerous to write him off.
Since the start of the new season, David Bass has become a freelance jockey and is no longer attached to the Kim Bailey yard. His going up to Newcastle for one ride makes a good amount of appeal for Harjo's chances, as this is a fair way for David to travel for a no-hoper.
Along with this, Charlie Longsdon have a superb record at Newcastle, with 5/10 of his horses winning at the North East track in the last five years. He has three horses running at Newcastle today, with two being ridden by his stable jockey Lilly Pinchin, so it seems odd for David to be on board this horse, and with what I've just said about the travelling, I think connections are expecting a second win on the bounce.
2:25 Newcastle- dartie bay now 10/1 e/w
2:55 Newcastle- the dark edge 13/2 e/w
3::25 Newcastle- ceolwulf 15/2 e/w
7:00 Wolverhampton- Lynwood lad 10/1 e/w
Going to do these as e/w lucky 15 I need these to win as it will enable me to give up my job as glory hole assistant down the cottage !
Just been having a close look through the Triumph Hurdle and all the talk is about the top 3 in the market.
Lulamba is being talked about as the next big thing in a long line of top horses from the Henderson yard.
East India Dock has been hugely impressive reminds me a bit like Our Conor and has course form and then Hello Neighbour is the Irish challenger who has the potential but only just does enough.
Because there’s 3 fancied runners they’re not really a backable price so I’ve looked a bit further down the field and came across LIVE CONTI for the Skelton’s.
His one run on UK soil was nothing other than a schooling session as he cantered home at odds of 1/9
But his run in France has a good line of form with lulamba.
He beat a horse called Crown Du Berlias 4 1/2L.
That horse won nto. 3rd to him was a horse called Lancier who was beaten 11 1/4L. In Lancier’s previous race to that one he ran against Lulamba and finished 3rd beaten 6 1/4L.
I know circumstances of races can change and you shouldn’t always take races at face value, but in this instance I think it’s worth following.
Live Conti again might be a bet for on the day as everyone’s attention will be on the 3 at the head of the market and he could be an ew extra bet or a place bet.
I’m going to wait till the day myself but I will be backing him

If he keeps his jockey on board for once 😂
Indeed I did Elvis.
Chase mark well below hurdle rating but so far hasn’t produced the goods.
Fingers crossed he shows up today for you
Brighterdaysahead to go Champion Hurdle.
Should be a cracker
Only race for her IMO if she didn’t CH would have been a 1/4 shot.
Watch Lossiemouth now go for the mares especially with no rain in the forecast.
Yes she might go Mares but I don’t think she’d win that either.
That was a nasty fall she had and it might have left it’s mark. The Mares this year is far deeper than last years

Poor old harjo 😂
Lossiemouth a sea of blue on oddschecker.
She’s going to switch.
Drying ground and no rain forecast will be the excuse but regardless it’s going to leave a sour taste in my mouth.

Fair Grounds -Race 5…Vivs Wild Aces 13/2 Ew Paddy Power 3 places
Basically he needs to get out quick like he does and see out this extra 2f more than he’s tried, jockey be key here and he’s one best at FG.
Was an excellent 2nd in a 59K Allowance before 3 months off so I’m forgiving his last run on thr comeback especially as it was in a 59K again.
Be better for the run obviously and drops to a 53K Allowance here for first time against some older horses.

Well done . I wasn’t on myself . Hope you lumped on it only way to make it worthwhile
DC She has no chance over 2mile on Good ish ground against the 3 at the top of the market.
She will need to go up half mile on that ground.
Burdett road going county by the look of it so looks like around a 6 runner champion hurdle.
Willie had a so called “2 year plan” for Lossiemouth. Ricci wanted her to run in the CH last year but Willie somehow persuaded him to run her in the Mares, purely because he knew he would win both races if State Man and lossie were kept apart.
We still don’t know what race she will run in and with both races being on Day 1 I’d guarantee the Clark of the course will water the shit out of the course if necessary to get gd/soft. There will be plenty of juice in that ground as it’s also in his best interest to have the spectacle of the 3 turning up for the CH. There are still plenty of tickets available and he will want a sell out which he will get if all 3 show up.
Personally I would love to see Lossie show up. I don’t think she’ll win but I do think she will be happier than she was at Kempton, she hated running at that track but was still only 2 1/2L behind Con Hill
Lynwood lad 😂😂😂
7:30 Wolverhampton- miss calculation 8/1 e/w
That’s enough for one day 😂
There’s loads of activity on oddschecker with regards to Willie’s horses.
Kopeck drifting for the supreme and shortening for Turners.
Same with Final Demand he’s shortening for the AB.
I’m praying he goes there as I have him at 10/1 🙏
There’s a Paddy Power preview evening starting now 7.30 on YouTube we might get some info from Ruby although I doubt it

Turf Paradise – Race 4…Daddy’s Gift 15/8 Bet365
Favourite has dropped out and DG had a good chance against him but with Fav out he looks a big class above the others in here. Think he will go odds on or close near the off 🤷

Meant to mention she been off 2 days shy of a year so it’s just if she fully wound up or not and I think so.
GL and well done to winners today
