WHATAKNIGHT (1.10) has been dropped a pound by the handicapper, with Harry Fry booking a 5lb claimer to further ease the top weight's burden in the Pertemps Network Handicap Hurdle at Newbury.

Whataknight finished seventh to Thomas Campbell in a recent Pertemps qualifier at Cheltenham, not far behind Dell' Arca, who reopposes here. There is the suspicion Fry's eight-year-old is ready to recapture his old sparkle and he is worth an each-way bet.
