Our Goals Acca Tips are based on statistical analysis of recent performances.
Cardiff vs West Ham – Both Teams To Score (Wednesday, 19:45)
West Ham will begin life after Nuno Espirito Santo when they travel to Cardiff in the Championship on Wednesday night.
Back-to-back home defeats to Southampton and West Brom proved to be the final nail in the Portuguese’s coffin, with his departure confirmed on Tuesday morning.
The Hammers can expect another stern test against a Cardiff side that are unbeaten in six home matches since returning to the Championship this season.
Both teams have scored in five of those six games in the Welsh capital, and BTTS has also landed in four of West Ham’s last six league matches.
Wrexham vs Middlesbrough – Both Teams To Score (Wednesday, 19:45)
Two teams in contrasting form meet at the Racecourse Ground on Wednesday night, with Wrexham hosting Middlesbrough in the Championship.
Wrexham sit in the lower reaches of the table after three defeats in their last four league games, with Saturday’s 1-0 loss at Sheffield United their second in succession.
Middlesbrough, by contrast, are top of the table and unbeaten in 11 matches after sweeping Charlton aside 3-0 at the weekend.
BTTS looks worth backing here, having landed in all six of Wrexham’s home league games this season and five of Middlesbrough’s six away from the Riverside.
Como To Score 1+ (Wednesday, 20:00)
Lens and Como will lock horns at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
Yannick Cahuzac’s side kicked off their campaign with a 3-2 win away at Slavia Prague, but have since come away empty-handed from their next two matches, losing 2-0 at home to Sporting and 3-0 away at Club Brugge.
As for Como, they have claimed a pair of resounding 4-1 wins over RB Leipzig and Manchester United, either side of a 3-2 defeat away at Feyenoord.
Cesc Fabregas’s front-foot approach has seen Como score in 11 of their 13 matches across competitions this season, and they look well placed to fire in France.
Besiktas To Score 2+ (Thursday, 20:00)
Besiktas will be looking to heap more misery on Celtic when they pitch up at Parkhead in the Europa League on Thursday night.
The hosts have lost all three of their Europa League matches this season and come into this clash off the back of a 2-0 defeat away at Falkirk in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday.
That does not bode well ahead of a visit from a Besiktas side that have taken seven points from their opening three league-phase matches.
Vincenzo Italiano’s men have scored at least two goals in all three of their Europa League games this season, and they have to be fancied to extend that run against a struggling Celtic side that have shipped nine goals so far.
