Fridays top tips 2

There's Friday night festive football in the SPFL Premiership tonight and it's a tough one to call as Motherwell host Kilmarnock.

A look at the table would tell you the Steelmen should be favourites, given they're riding high in fourth place and sit eight points ahead of Killie with a game in hand.

But Derek McInnes' men are always a tough nut to crack, as they proved last time out by grinding out a 1-0 win over Hearts, having been reduced to 10 men inside the first 10 minutes.

Kilmarnock also scrambled a last-gasp leveller on their last away day at Tannadice so they should make Motherwell scrap all the way.

Motherwell vs Kilmarnock top betting tips

Motherwell's last game at Fir Park was a thriller as they claimed a 4-3 victory over Dundee United but I'd be surprised if there was a repeat tonight.

Over 2.5 goals has only come up in one of the last five for Killie – and that was a 6-0 battering at Ibrox. Under 2.5 goals only pays 4/5 with BoyleSports here but the half-time draw is better at evens.

We saw six yellows and a red when these sides faced off in the League Cup earlier this season, a game Well edged 1-0 in extra time.

Most of the cards went to Killie so it could pay to back their players to get into trouble. Brad Lyons always gets stuck in and is 7/5 at BoyleSport to be booked.

Luton Town vs Derby County top betting tips

Luton Town have hit a bit of form at home and the Hatters will be hoping to take another step towards EFL Championship safety when Derby County come calling.

Rob Edwards' side have gone five games unbeaten at Kenilworth Road and claimed a 2-1 win over Stoke on their last outing at home.

They could only follow that up with a loss on the road at Blackburn, which has left Luton hovering just five points above the drop zone.

Derby are only two points better off in 14th place but got back to winning ways last time out with an impressive 4-0 win over Portsmouth.

BoyleSport make Luton 23/20 favourites and that price looks decent given they've been strong at home of late.

We should see goals in this one and combining BTTS with over 2.5 goals pays 8/5 at BoyleSports.

Queen's Park v Raith Rovers top betting tips

Queen's Park are looking to keep their play-off push on track in the SPFL Championship but face a tricky game at home to improving Raith Rovers tonight.

A win would move the Spiders above Partick into fourth and BoyleSports make them 13/10 favourites with home advantage.

Raith won't be an easy nut to crack though as Neill Collins' side have lost just two of their last seven in all competitions.

The half-time draw appeals again at 20/21 with BoyleSports while backing most goals to come after the break pays evens.

Zak Rudden should start up front for Queen's Park and he's 6/4 with McBookie for anytime scorer.

Friday's Super Singles

  • HT draw in Motherwell v Kilmarnock Evens BoyleSports
  • Luton Town to win 23/20 BoyleSports
  • Most goals second half in Queen's Park v Raith Evens BoyleSports
