Football Tips: Big three going for Europa League glory

You don't get rewarded anything like what you get for making the Champions League but it's still decent money and clubs need every penny these days.

I've posted a separate preview with tips on the games as Celtic travel to Sarajevo, Rangers entertain Galatasaray and Spurs welcome Maccabi Haifa. Celtic and Spurs are short-priced favourites while Rangers are just over evens.

There are loads of other Europa League games including AEK Athens vs Wolfsburg, Rio Ave vs AEK Athens and Sporting Lisbon vs LASK are some of the more interesting ties.

We have another three EFL Cup affairs including Liverpool vs Arsenal which has been previewed by Kevin Mac. It will be all change from the teams who faces each other at Anfield but again there should be goals and remember it was 5-5 when they met in this competition last season. Aston Villa take on Stoke and Brentford face Fulham.

There are three matches in La Liga including Celta Vigo vs Barcelona and Sevilla vs Levante.

Elsewhere it's day one of the Scottish Open in North Berwick and it's where I'd normally be heading to meet up with Desmond who lives in the town. Sadly there are no fans this year but we still have tips.

I like his Romain Langasque outright but he's made a disastrous start and I'm also on South African big hitter Erik van Rooyen ew at 28-1 with bet365. My long shots are Dean Burmester ew at 100-1 with bet365 and Jazz Janewattananond at 66-1 at Betfred. Will put a twoball treble on Saturday or Sunday.

Well done to all the winners on Wednesday. Newcastle's terrible 1-1 draw at Newport before winning on penalties downed my Top treble but my goals treble won at 19-10 so that was some consolation.

I've picked out another trebles tonight starting with Copenhagen to beat Rijeka at home. The Danes have made a poor start to the league but in Europe beat Gothenburg and Piast Gliwice. This should be a close game but Copenhagen have enough quality going forward to edge it.

Wolfsburg play at a much higher level than AEK and are unbeaten in five. Again they should have enough class to win this and no fans in Greece will disadvantage the home men.

Complete the Top Treble with Milan who have won six in a row without being spectacular in Europe. Zlatan Ibrahimovic netted a double in the 2-0 defeat of Shamrock Rovers while without him they beat an exciting Bodo/Glimt side 3-2.

Rio Ave have drawn three in a row since beating Banja Luka 2-0 and again Milan should be seeing off this type of opposition as they target a group spot.

I'm taking Liverpool vs Arsenal on my both to score treble for obvious reasons and adding Sporting vs LASK. Sporting struggled past Aberdeen 1-0 in the last round and LASK look a better side with plenty of goals in them.

The Austrians beat Dunajska 7-0 in the previous round and followed up with a 3-1 defeat of Wolfsberger in the league. They are capable of scoring here.

Complete the treble Dinamo Brest vs Ludogorets – two sides who score and concede plenty. Dinamo have brought up overs and btts in five of their last six and it's four of six for the Bulgarians.

Other games I considered were Hapoel Beer Sheva vs Viktoria Plzen, Malmo vs Granada and Rosenborg vs PSV.
