The top two in the bottom half of the Scottish Premiership table meet at Almondvale tomorrow evening as 7th-placed Motherwell travel to 8th-placed Livingston.
After suffering three successive losses away from home, David Martindale’s hosts returned to winning ways at the weekend as they won 2-1 at home to bottom-side Dundee United. Livi have now lost just two of their previous 11 Premiership matches in front of their supporters (W5-D4-L2), winning each of their last three. However, The Lions have recorded just five clean sheets at home this campaign, with just two of those coming across their previous 12.
Stuart Kettlewell’s visitors claimed their third consecutive victory at the weekend, as they scored a penalty deep into stoppage time to defeat Ross County 1-0. The Steelmen are unbeaten in each of their previous five Premiership matches on the road, winning three and drawing two of them – including a 1-1 draw away at champions Celtic. The Well have found the back of the net in 30/36 of their league contests this term, including in 15/18 away from home.

Kevin van Veen is not just Motherwell’s leading scorer but is also tied-second in the Premiership this season, scoring 23 goals. 12 of those have come across his previous nine Premiership appearances, in which he has scored in each one.
The Dutchman has also found the back of the net in each of his three appearances against Livi this season – scoring a brace at Fir Park when the pair faced off just last month – and I’m backing the Dutchman to find the back of the net for the 10th consecutive Premiership match.
