After falling a Dynamo Kyiv goal short on Tuesday, Thursday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me focus on the Conference League qualifiers and I’ve come up with a goals-based selection in one of the fixtures.

Scandinavian rivals Ilves and Djurgården face off at the Tammelan Stadion on Thursday evening in the first leg of their third-round Conference League tie in a fixture that appeals to me for goals.
Ilves recorded one of their biggest European successes in the previous round, as they knocked out record Austrian champions Austria Vienna on penalties.
Joonas Rantanen’s men recorded a 2-1 first-leg victory on home soil – and despite falling behind in the tie on three separate occasions in the Austrian capital – managed to take it to a shootout in which the Finnish side were victorious.
Domestically, Ilves are already 18 matches into their season, and they currently sit in third position in the Veikkausliiga table, five points behind leaders KuPS.
Djurgården were also in action in the previous round, as they knocked out Luxembourg side Progres Niederkorn 3-1 on aggregate.
Following a 3-0 success in the first leg at home, Kim Bergstrand and Thomas Lagerlöf’s men fell behind in Luxembourg after just three minutes and went down to 10 men 10 minutes before the interval but managed to hold out.
Like their opponents, Djurgården are a good chunk into their domestic season, sitting in second position after 17 rounds of matches, three points behind leaders Malmö.

Ilves’ previous 10 fixtures in front of their supporters in all competitions are averaging a staggering 4.70 goals per game, with Over 2.5 Goals banking in all 10 (100%) of them.
Both Teams to Score also landed in seven (70%) of those matches – and given Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 Goals paid out in Djurgården’s last five away matches prior to that 1-0 loss in Luxembourg in the previous round – I’m happy to have a punt on there being at least three strikes in Tampere on Thursday evening, with both of these sides finding the target.
