Thursday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me focus on the Scottish Premiership, and I’ve highlighted a goals-based selection in one of the fixtures.

Dundee will look to make it four wins on the bounce at Dens Park tomorrow afternoon as they play host to poor-travelling Ross County in a fixture that appeals to me for goals.
Dundee suffered more away-day misery last time out, as they fell to a 1-0 defeat at Ibrox against Rangers – a result that saw them remain in seventh position, five points clear of the relegation zone.
Whilst that’s now six defeats away from home (W1-D3-L5) and four from their past five (W0-D1-L4), Tony Docherty’s men have won each of their past three on home soil, including back-to-back 4-1 victories over fourth-placed Motherwell and resurgent Hibs.
Ross County’s losing streak was extended to four matches last time out, as they fell to a 1-2 defeat at home to St Mirren despite playing the match from the 55th minute onwards with a man advantage to move them down to 11th position in the table, a point adrift of safety.
Don Cowie’s visitors have an absolutely horrendous away record in the Premiership, as they are winless in each of their past 25 road trips (W0-D9-L16), losing 12 of their last 16 – including a 2-0 loss in their last trip to Dens Park in February.
Bet of the Day
Tony Docherty’s hosts are the fourth-highest scorers in the Scottish Premiership, slamming in 27 goals across their opening 17 matches, with an impressive 20 (74%) of them coming on home soil.
The Dark Blues have made the net bulge in each of their opening eight league outings in front of their supporters – notching on multiple occasions in six (75%) of them – and I’m backing them to bag another double at home to a Ross County side that is winless in each of their previous 25 Premiership contests on their travels, shipping multiple goals in five of their previous seven.
