Following last night’s anti-climax at Stamford Bridge, Friday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head to the goal-laden Dutch Eerste Divisie, and there is one fixture in particular that appeals to me for both goals.

Two clubs separated by one place in the Eerste Divisie table meet at De Koel on Friday night as 13th-placed VVV play host to 14th-placed Jong Ajax in a fixture that appeals to me for goals.
Rick Kruys’ hosts have scored 51 goals across their opening 36 matches in the Eerste Divisie this term, with 33 (65%) of them coming on home soil.

Dave Vos’ visitors have made the net bulge in 30 (83%) of their league outings – including in 17/18 (94%) of them on their travels – and will look to get on the scoresheet once again on their travels against a VVV defence that has recorded just three clean sheets in front of their supporters this term.
