Saturday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head to the Italian Serie A, and there is one fixture in particular that appeals to me for goals.

With Inter and Juve facing off in the Derby d'Italia on Sunday evening, Milan will look to cut the gap between themselves and at least one of the top two in the Serie A table on Saturday evening as they travel to the Stadio Benito Stirpe to take on 13th-placed Frosinone in a fixture that appeals to me for goals.
Eusebio Di Francesco’s hosts have scored 29 goals across their opening 22 matches back in the Italian top flight, with 20 (69%) of them coming on home soil. The Canaries have only failed to score at home against defensively strong Torino – scoring on multiple occasions in 7/11 (64%) of them – and will look to find the target once more on home soil against a Milan defence that has registered only two shutouts across their previous 10 Serie A matches on the road, shipping multiple goals in five of their last six.
Stefano Pioli’s visitors are the second-highest scorers in Serie A, slamming in 43 goals across their opening 22 matches, with 23 (53%) of them coming on their travels. The Rossoneri have found the back of the net in each of their opening 11 road trips in the Italian top flight this season – scoring on multiple occasions in nine (82%) of them – and will be confident of continuing their fine goal-scoring record away from home against a Frosinone defence that has recorded just two clean sheets in Serie A all season, with only bottom-side Salernitana (44) conceding more than their tally of 41.

Frosinone’s opening 11 Serie A contests in front of their supporters this campaign are averaging 3.27 goals per game, with Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 Goals clicking in nine (82%) of them – and given the same has landed in eight of The Rossoneri’s previous 10 road trips – I’m happy to have a punt on there to be at least three strikes, with both sides finding the target in the Italian capital on Saturday night.
