London rivals Chelsea and Spurs do battle at Stamford Bridge on Thursday in what promises to be a highly competitive clash.
Mauricio Pochettino’s hosts have scored 63 goals across their opening 33 Premier League fixtures this term, with 35 (56%) of them coming on home soil.
The Blues have made the net bulge in each of their last 10 Premier League contests at their West London base – notching on multiple occasions in nine (90%) of them.
They will look to continue their impressive goal-scoring run of form at home against a Spurs defence that has registered only six clean sheets in the Premier League this term, shipping multiple goals in 10/16 (63%) of their away matches.
Ange Postecoglou’s visitors have scored 67 goals across their opening 33 matches in the Premier League this term, with 31 (46%) of them coming on their travels.
Spurs have failed to score in just two of their Premier League contests – notching on multiple occasions in 24 (73%) of them – and will be confident of getting on the scoresheet once again against a Blues backline that has recorded just three clean sheets across their previous 26 Premier League fixtures.

Chelsea’s opening 16 Premier League fixtures at The Bridge this campaign are averaging an eye-catching 3.75 goals per game, with over 2.5 Goals banking in eight of their last 10.
Given that the same has landed in a league-high 27/33 (82%) of Spurs’ Premier League encounters, I’m happy to have a punt on there being a minimum of three strikes in West London on Thursday, with both of these London rivals getting on the scoresheet.
To nudge the price up, I’m happy to throw in four or more cards in the match, with both sides picking up one. All 33 (100%) of Chelsea’s Premier League fixtures this term have produced a minimum of four cards – with both sides receiving one in 32 (97%) of them – whilst the same has landed in 12/16 (75%) of Spurs’ Premier League contests on the road.
