Chelsea v Bournemouth (Saturday 15:00)
Chelsea and Bournemouth made promising starts to their Premier League campaigns, however, the Blues and the Cherries have both stuttered and struggled for results in recent weeks.
Frank Lampard's young-guns have been turned over in three of their last four top-flight fixtures and Eddie Howe's men have suffered defeat in their last five league outings.
Both teams recent wobbles can be pinned on their respective ropey rearguards – Chelsea have chalked up one clean sheet in their last 10 outings and Bournemouth have failed to register a shut-out in their last five attempts.
Indeed, Chelsea have superior attacking quality to turn towards, not to mention Howe is dealing with a heavy injury list, however, I suspect Bournemouth could still have enough about them to keep this clash competitive.
Therefore, I'm going to side with Bournemouth with a + 2.00 goal start with at 1.730 with Crown via VOdds – a bet that would only see you out of pocket should Chelsea win the game by three or more goals – something the Blues have only managed in three of their 25 games this season to date.
Roma v SPAL (Sunday 17:00)
Roma are enjoying a quietly impressive season and the capital club should be too strong for a SPAL side who are stranded at the bottom of Serie A.
The Giallorossi picked up an impressive point at the San Siro last Friday night against league leaders Inter and they will be striving for all three points against SPAL at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday evening.
The Italian giants have made massive strides under manager Paulo Fonseca who looks set to have Roma competing for Champions League qualification this term.
What's more, Fonseca's Roma remain unbeaten on their own turf and they have only lost two of their opening 15 fixtures in the Italian top-flight.
Meanwhile, SPAL have tasted defeat in 10 of their opening 15 outings and another defeat could be in store at the Stadio Olimpico against a resurgent Roma.
The Rome outfit possess some potent attackers in the shape of Edin Dzeko and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, among others, and given the firepower Fonseca has his disposal, I fancy Roma to overcome a -1.25 handicap at 1.699 with Pinnacle via VOdds – an angle that would only see you lose your full stake if Roma do not win the match.
Valencia v Real Madrid (Sunday 20:00)
Valencia's midweek victory in Amsterdam sent shock waves throughout Europe as Los Ches landed a place in the last-16 of the Champions League at the expense of Ajax.
Albert Celades men are in the midst of magnificent 13 game unbeaten run, however, that streak will come under serious threat in a mouthwatering meeting with Real Madrid at the Mestalla on Sunday night.
Madrid also triumphed on the continent during the week when winning away at Club Brugge and after a shaky start to their domestic season, Zinedine Zidane's star-studded side now find themselves joint top of La Liga and undefeated in 10 matches across all competitions.
However, Los Blancos title credentials will be put to the test in southern Spain at a venue where eight La Liga sides have come and gone without collecting three points thus far.
Real will represent Valencia's toughest home assignment to date, however, the Spanish superpower have failed to succeed at the Mestalla in four of their last five visits.
With that in mind, coupled with Valencia's impressive recent run of form, I'm going to back Valencia with a +0.75 start at 1.760 with Crown via VOdds. Taking this approach would only see you completely out of pocket in the event that Real Madrid win the game by two or more goals.
