YOU don’t need me to give you any intricate details about the England squad or the shape and style they are likely to play with against Panama. All those details have been analysed to within an inch of their life by the media in the run up to this match.
What we need to look for is a bit of value in the betting markets.
I think the best option here is to assume that England will win the match and win it well. I’m assuming they will get an early goal and after that the floodgates will open.
Kane is the obvious choice for first goalscorer but his price is awful so I’m taking a chance with Rashford who is direct and doesn’t mind a shot on goal. He looks set to start the match and will be keen to make an impression.
Panama for their part are dogged and will not give up easily but they don’t have any strength in depth and this should be an easy one for England once they get that first goal.
