Daily French Open Day 15 Tips Tennis Tips: Best Bets for the Men's Singles Final

Looking to bet on the French Open today? Then look no further, because here at Mr Fixit Tips, we love our tennis.

We’ve gone deep into the day’s order of play and picked out the best bets to make on day three of the French Open.

Best French Open Bets Today

Sabalenka to Beat Andreeva and Under 17.5 Games @ 4/5

World No. 2 Aryna Sabalenka begins her Roland-Garros campaign against 19-year-old Erika Andreeva. The world No. 100 is playing in just her third Grand Slam main draw and will have an uphill battle to make this clash respectable against Sabalenka.

Sabalenka comes to Paris in fine form, having made the final of Madrid and Rome. If your name isn’t Iga Swiatek, she isn’t losing to you.

We recommend betting on the Belarusian to end this first-round match quickly. Over the last two years, Sabalenka has not lost more than five games in her opening clash of any Grand Slam. We don’t see that changing here, so back her to win under 17.5 games.

Michelsen to Win a Set vs De Minaur @ 10/11

Australian No. 1 Alex de Minaur will take to the courts in Paris on day three, hoping to turn around a scratchy clay court season so far.

The 25-year-old began 2024 in emphatic fashion, defeating three top 10 players in a row at the United Cup. He went on to make the final of Rotterdam and win an ATP 500 in Acapulco, breaking into the world top 10 for the first time. Since then, however, he’s slowed up, with a 3-3 record on the European clay.

His opponent in the first round of the French Open, Alex Michelsen, has also had a great year. The 19-year-old is at a career-high of No. 60 in the world, having just bagged a win over Taylor Fritz in Geneva.

Earlier this year, Michelsen and De Minaur faced each other in Los Cabos. The American prevailed in straight sets, grabbing the maiden top 10 win of his career. While we don’t expect a repeat result, the 19-year-old certainly has the game to take a set from De Minaur today.

Barrere to Beat Bublik @ 1/1

Is there a more mercurial player on the ATP Tour than Alexander Bublik? Just when the Kazakh looks like he’s stringing together some matches and taking his tennis seriously, he comes up with a shocker and crashes out of a tournament early.

That’s exactly what we expect to happen when Bublik takes on French veteran Gregoire Barrere today.

Bublik has been playing decent tennis in 2024. The world No. 17 is at a career-high, having made deep runs in Adelaide and Dubai and won his fourth career title in Montpellier. However, four wins already in this European clay swing make us concerned that he’s due for a flop.

Barrere will have the full support of a French crowd behind him and should be able to capitalise on a patchy Bublik in this first-round match. While the 30-year-old is 4-5 for the year so far, he does bring some momentum here, having just won three in a row at the Bordeaux Challenger.

Expect an entertaining clash, with another men’s seed falling on Tuesday.
