Holstein Kiel vs Jahn Regensburg

Holstein Kiel will look to take another step closer to promotion to the Bundesliga with 3 points. They host a Regensburg side who haven’t got rid of the threat of relegation just yet. Kiel with a win will go 4 points clear of Greuther Furth with two games remaining and Regensburg are 4 points clear of the relegation play off spot and 5 from automatic relegation.

Kiel comes into this in great form unbeaten in their last 5 winning 4. Their home form has been terrific winning their last 6 in a row. This is partly due to their tight defence as they’ve conceded just once in those victories and keeping clean sheets in their last 5.

Regensburg have been struggling of late, winless in their last 4 losing 3 including a 5-1 defeat away to Bochum last time out. Regensburg are winless in all eight games away to sides in the top half losing five of them. Only bottom side Sandhausen have scored fewer goals away from home than Regensburg’s 12.

Liege host Mechelen in an important game for both sides as they look to claim the Europa League playoff spot. Both sides currently sit on 28 points and are 2 points off Oostende who are currently top.
