THE Champion of Champions snooker is down to the final four and Ronnie O'Sullivan is in the frame for his third crown in four years.
The Rocket – 5-4 title favourite at William Hill – faces a semi-final collision with Mark Allen who edged out Mark Selby in a thriller to reach the last four.
O'Sullivan is 7-18 at Marathonbet to see off the Northern Irishman in the best-of-11 shootout while Allen is 9-4 at the likes of Sportingbet and BetVictor to spring a surprise.
In the other sem-final it's John Higgins chalked up as slight outsider at 11-10 with winner.com against Ding Junhui, who is 10-11 at Ladbrokes.
There's also plenty of Friday night NBA action with the eight games including Cleveland Cavs looking to bounce back from their first defeat of the season when they travel to Washington Wizards.
Other sporting highlights worth a flutter include rugby and cricket so as usual feel free to add your tips and chat.
Denver Nuggets +6 @ 1.90 – *LOST*
NOP/MIL Over 206.5 Points @ 1.90 – *WON*
1-1 on the night, that’s ok.. still time to finish the week in profit.
Reason I picked out the Nuggets was that they usually give the Warriors a really tough game at home, and they were on a b2b. Turns out the public destroyed the bookies on this one!
Decent looking card tonight, let’s find some winners ✌
Updated record
Wins – 12
Lost – 8
Roll on tonight mate..?..??
Morning all. your main man Max here, I kept it simple last night with 1 tip which proved to be a winner, as expected having delved into the stats for the season.
****Repost****
“Cleveland have conceded 25pts in every game this season, so with Smith back, and guys like Wallace, Pitta, West and smoking Joe under centre on offence, I can see this trend continuing at home on a short week. This Ravens D can also make some big plays giving the O short fields. I am taking Ravens O25.5pts 20/23 Betway”.
Max’s TNF Tip
Baltimore O25.5pts 20/23 WON
:-) :-)
Check out my tips on Sunday, and I have posted a NAP and NB on the football my first in weeks, as I like to wait for the best value and not waste my followers money by tipping daily. Well done to any winners and good luck everyone with your punts.

Semi final day at the snooker.
1pm Higgins v Ding.
Both players have got to the semis in different manner. Ding hasn’t looked his brilliant best since Selby hammered him 10-1 in the Intl. championship final a couple of weeks ago. He was poor v Carter but luckily for him Carter was worse. He then beat Bingham after trailing 3-1 as Bingham seemed to run out of energy due to jet lag in the 2nd half of the game. Contrast this to Higgins who came through the ‘group of death’ yesterday beating Murphy and Trump. Higgins has continued his form from last week when he won the China Championship and I’d expect him to win again this afternoon.
7pm O’Sullivan v Allen
I see this as a similar game to Trump/Higgins last night. Both players like to play aggressively which will either put themselves in or leave an opportunity for their opponent. Both players when they get in score heavily. O’Sullivan is far from his best so I expect Allen to get his chances to score in the match. Same bet as last night – over 6.5 50+ breaks in the match.
Bets:
Higgins win (v Ding) @ Evens –
Alen/O’Sullivan o6.5 50+ breaks @ 6/5
Some cracking Rugby tomorrow and my main bet will be a double of England -5.5 and Argentina +10.5 just above evens (Bet365). England should win by double digits but rain is expected which would help the Boks so gonna play it safe. Wales were awful last week and I reckon Argentina can actually snatch this. Wales probably won’t be that terrible again but even so the Pumas are battle hardened so gonna have a small punt on them to win outright at 13/8 too.
Other than that I fancy a treble of Canada +43.5, Australia ML, France over 3.5 tries (7/4). Scotland over 1.5 tries (evens) looks tasty too & I’ll be on it. Fiji vs the Baabaas later on today should be a smashing game and the totals market could also be worth a look. Have my eye on a few other markets to might post some more later/tomorrow
Looking forward to tomorrow, should be a cracking day. Just noticed Japan are +8 against Georgia. They’ve just taken Otago’s boss and have beaten Georgia 3 from 4 and are always strong away. Might put it in as an early tip tomorrow.
Like the look of your treble, might have a dabble.

Time to give the NBA a rest and concentrate on the Euro hoops.
Unlucky yesterday Hunter! What have you got for us today to get back on track? :D
Hunter looked at the three euro league games tonight any thoughts on olypiakos +1.5 Moscow – 4.5 and fenebahce + 4.5 pays 2/1 with hills .no expert me mate so help required please
Euroleague Basketball
All three games look very balanced on paper, very difficult to call one bet nevermind three but I’ll give it a go at small stakes.
Galatasaray are in a bad shape and have conceded an average of 90 ppg. Olympiakos are one of the better teams in the league and so I believe today against a weaker opponent should win by 5 or more points difference.
CSKA entertain Madrid in Moscow and this promises to be quite a contest with plenty of drama and points to boot! Reigning champions CSKA are off the back of 11 straight wins whereas Madrid have lost 2 in their last 5. Looking at H2H, CSKA have won 12 of the last 16 and although it pains me to say it, I can see this being number 13 for CSKA tonight.
Possibly the toughest out of the 3 Euroleague games to call as Baskonia entertain Fener.
Baskonia will start this match in better form than Fener, Baskonia in the last match defeated Red Star away from home which isn’t an easy task at all.
Fenerbahce come from bad and resounding defeat against a poor Unics side. The team seemed tired, and again will miss key players Kalinic and Bogdanovic.
All-in-all this should go close with slight favour going to Baskonia.
Baskonia (+2.5)
Olympiacos (Money Line)
CSKA Moscow (-4.5)
Treble @ 4/1, Winner Sports – 1pt staked.
Good luck!
Nice one hunter I go with you ?
Barbarians v Fiji (7.30)
Fiji Team Total under 27.5
1.83 @ bet365
Although the both lime to score and play flamboyant rugby, Fiji never really do so well in away games. They have been over this total just once in 6 years away from home so fancy them to go under again tonight against a reinforced Barabarians team which includes Tommy Bowe.
