ANDY MURRAY booked his place in the French Open quarter-finals after winning the one-set shoot-out against Serbia's Viktor Troicki.
I backed the British No.1 to prevail in the final set – and doubled up with 19-20 shot Roger Federer to beat Gael Monfils in straight sets.
But it was tougher for Murray than anyone would have expected after Troicki allowed a 5-2 lead to slip away.
Murray tackles surprise quarter-finalist Juan Ignacio Chela today and, while he should advance, he may have to give the Argentine a set.
The 24-year-old Scot is the 1-5 favourite with Betfred while world No.34 Chela, who has lost six of his seven meetings with Murray, is 4-1 with bet365, Skybet, Paddy Power and Stan James.
With the benefit of an extra day's rest on Murray, I reckon Chela will lose 3-1 – that outcome is a tempting 11-4 with Skybet.
Murray to go through in straight sets is 11-10 at Betfred, while the unlikely scoreline of 3-2 to the world No.4 is 9-1 at Stan James.
There have been a few shocks already at Roland Garros and a Chela victory would eclipse the lot.
Still, if you fancy the South American to march on you'll get 18-1 and 12-1 on 3-0 and 3-2 respectively at Stan James and 12-1 on 3-1 at Bet365.
Recommendation
Murray 3, Chela 1
(11-4, Skybet)
