SWANSEA as expected stormed into the play-off final – but who will they meet?
It's either Cardiff for an explosive all Welsh Wembley final or former Swans boss Brendan Rodgers' club Reading.
I was absolutely convinced Swansea would beat Forest in 90 minutes and also recommended a punt on Stephen Dobbie to score at 9-4 so it was a good night.
Picking a winner between Cardiff and Reading is much tougher and it could go all the way.
The sides have drawn three times this season and four of their last five meetings have ended in stalemate.
A 0-0 draw at the Madjeski last week proved there is nothing between the sides so consider another one at 23-10 with Chandler.
That result will of course force extra time with away goals not counting double. And after that there is the possibility of penalties and Betfred make both sides 11-1 to win a shoot-out.
Cardiff are 4-6 with Coral to qualify and 5-4 with the likes of Betfred and bodog to win after 90 minutes.
Reading are 12-5 with Chandler to win in regulation time and 6-5 at Stan James to reach the Final.
Choosing a tough scorer isn't easy either. Jay Bothroyd has been off form but is Paddy Power's 11-2 favourite.
And 26-goal Reading striker Shane Long, 6-1 at Paddy Power and bodog, hasn't netted in his last five.
It might be worth a speculative punt on Cardiff winger Chris Burke at 14-1 with Betfred and he is 5-1 at William Hill to score first.
Reading have netted in 14 of their last 17 matches and Cardiff usually hit the target at home so consider both teams to score at 10-11 with Skybet and William Hill among others.
Recommendations
- Cardiff to win on pens (11-1, Betfred)
- Reading to win on pens (11-1, Betfred)
- Both teams to score (10-11, Skybet, William Hill)
- Draw 90 minutes (23-10, Chandler)
