THE title race in the SPFL Championship has been tighter than most people thought it would be but Raith Rovers' brave challenge will be over tonight if they lose in Inverness.
For a long time it looked like Rovers would upset the odds and pip Dundee United to automatic promotion but a loss at Tannadice three weeks ago has been decisive.
Ian Murray's men now trail by six points with three games to go and also have a vastly inferior goal difference so it's curtains if Caley Thistle beat them in the Highlands.
And Duncan Ferguson's men desperately need the points themselves as they bid to move clear of the relegation play-off place. A 1-0 win over Queen's Park last weekend put Caley Thistle above the Spiders and it's now just one defeat in four games.
This should be a close one so the half-time draw appeals at 21/20 with Betway while McBookie offer 23/20 on most goals coming after the break.
There's also an important game south of the border in League One as Oxford United host a Stevenage side who are reeling from the departure of manager Steve Evans.
Oxford sit in the final play-off slot with two games to go and it's win or bust for Stevenage as they sit six points behind them. But gaffer Evans has upped sticks for Rotherham so it's advantage Oxford with Des Buckingham's side 4/5 favourites.
The Us have scored nine times across their last two matches at home so going for goals could pay off. Over 1.5 strikes for Oxford pays 19/20 at Coral while Mark Harris is 5/2 at Betfair to score after netting five times in his last four outings.
In La Liga, Athletic Bilbao continue their quest for a Champions League place as Granada come to the San Mames. The Basques sit four points behind fourth-placed Atletico Madrid and need a win ahead of a showdown with Diego Simeone's side next weekend.
Second-bottom Granada look doomed to the drop so it's no surprise to see Athletic as 2/7 hot favourites. Winger Nico Williams is always a huge threat for Los Leones and looks good for an assist at 9/4 with Bet365.
Italian giants Juventus haven't been in great form but have picked up a bit of late, with two wins and a draw in their last three. Tonight they visit a Cagliari side sitting just above the drop zone and I fancy both teams to score (68/67, VBet) as the home team netted twice against leaders Inter Milan last week.
