I’ve decided to jump on for a day of Glorious Goodwood and offer everyone something a little different by using the different types of markets that bookmakers offer online.
I’m not totally sure if you’ll be able to get these sort of markets in store but ask behind the counter and they maybe will be able to offer it.
If you are struggling to find the market online please comment below and I’ll do my best to locate it for you.
Onto the racing!

This is a cracking racing and although both on paper and how the current market stands Rebel Romance looks the likely winner I still think JOHN LEEPER is a cracking bet with the favourite at 7/1.
John Leeper has shown in his last 2 outings that he’s starting to look back to his old self.
The drop in trip is a slight worry but I definitely wouldn’t let it put you off having a bet on him.
He should get a nice pace to aim at in this as he is normally held up towards the rear and challenges late on.
He comes into this in pretty peak condition of a mark of 107 and I thought the jockey booking of Tom Marquand was another eye catching positive to add.

Rizz was pretty bang on the money with his write up on Mitbahhy who was pretty unlucky last time out. I agree this is his best chance to turn the tables today.
I’ve opted to offer something a little different and go for RAASEL to place. I thought even money for Raasel to place was great value if you take into consideration he’s hit the frame on his previous 4 outings and has won some of those previous 4 outings in pretty impressive fashion.
Furthermore as much as you can argue he was lucky to win last time out, as the saying goes you can only beat what’s in front of you!
Equilateral was another who was pretty unlucky in running last time out but he’s one of those horses who just can’t seem to get the head in-front whilst continually running well.
He also hasn’t hit the frame as frequently as Raasel has. That being said he has been running in tougher company. Regardless Raasel showed he’s capable last time out when winning and I still think he’s a safer option to place in this race.

As competitive as it gets this one but believe it or not I actually like the look of the German raider, ROCCHIGIANI, in this.
He was sent off a massive price of 22/1 in the Jersey Stakes last time out at Ascot when finishing 5th from a 15 runner field and I personally thought that was a cracking run.
He finished ahead of some nice types that day including Samburu and Monaadah.
He stayed on nicely in the final furlong that day and with today's distance being over 1mile and not the 7f he ran over at Ascot gives me the idea that he could improve for the run.
Tom Marquand is booked to take over the reigns from Bauyrzhan Murzabayev who normally rides him. The jockey booking of Marquand would suggest to me that Rocchigiani will more than likely be ridden more positively and up with the pace.
I couldn’t make my mind up between the top 3 in the market (Bayside Boy, Berkshire Shadow and Checkandchallenge) hence why I’ve opted to take Rocchigiani betting without favourite as I still feel the German runner is over priced.
Good luck!
What a start Cairnzy 🍻
