Friday’s Free Racing Tips: Drop in Class Should See Enfranchise in the Winners

I hope everyone is well and looking forward to another day full of racing tomorrow. It’s not the greatest Friday of racing I’ve seen but there’s a couple of selections I like the look of.

3:50 Lingfield

I think Mark Johnston’s Enfranchise is the one to be on in this race. If I’m correct I’d be surprised if you see 5/4 tomorrow (Friday) as I expect this one to go off under even money. So if you are having a bet I advise playing tonight or ASAP.

The Johnston runner ran a cracking race when taking on this longer trip for the first time last Saturday. She was awkward away that day and was taken wide to challenge. Although never causing a threat to the end winner Lower Street who I tipped up a couple of weeks ago she did stay on to land 2nd spot.

Lower Street is another who’s on a roll at present so I think that form stands my selection in good heart.

That previous run was in a class 2 event so this drop in class should of course increase her chances.

Hopefully she breaks a bit better and holds a nice position coming into the straight as I think she’ll be hard to peg back if hitting the front as most Mark Johnston horses are.

2:10 Lingfield

I’m taking advantage of the to place market for my 2nd selection as it’s a bit of a risky bet and open little race.

Dusky Prince trained by Archie Watson and ridden by Hollie Doyle. I’m hoping we can nick a place tomorrow in this tight little race (paying 3 places at 2/1 )

I think Archie Watson has found a nice race for him here (0-77 ) his previous runs at Wolverhampton and Southwell when running off marks in the higher 70s definitely give him a fighting chance in this now that he’s dropped to a mark of 70.

After rewatching his previous race at Newcastle, I’m more than happy to draw a line through that run. He left the gates like a donkey and raced far too freely to ever get involved.

With Hollie Doyle back on board I’m hoping she can get him to both break and settle better and hopefully nick a place for us at the business end of the race.
