GAME of the weekend is Liverpool v Man City but game of the day looks like Leicester v Arsenal.
While the top two meet on Sunday it's a battle between second and fourth and the Foxes look in a better place right now.
I fancy Brendan Rodgers' men to get the better of Unai Emery's side but the bookies don't disagree so the home win is no bigger than 11-10. For a Super Single I'm going with Leicester and over 1.5 match goals and I also like Jamie Vardy – eight in eight against the Gunners – to score first at 7-2 with Unibet.
I've posted separate Scottish and English previews where most of my bets are reasoned. It's a full card apart from League One and League Two which make way for the FA Cup and there are plenty of pitfalls with 32 non-league teams involved.
I've got a couple of league sides on my accumulator but I wouldn't go mad as there are bound to be shocks.
Well done to all the winners last night – my Top Treble was a loser and Norwich look like losers too after a shattering defeat at home to Watford that sent them to the foot of the Premier League. And there's every chance they'll be staying there.

Seen something on Twitter earlier on,cannae mind who it was but they have Hearts getting a production team into the club to highlight the everyday activitis ( i think thats what it is )..They suggested to get on Hearts to finish season rock bottom.Ive jumped on it for for a laugh..40/1 with Ladbrokes.
A lot will depend on who the new manager is but can’t see them finishing bottom with the squad they have.
Need the injuries to ckear up of course.
Fair do’s Mr F,as i said,only done it for a laugh & only a tenspot placed.
Gonna give my Thursday nights near 116/1 success another shot. Just for kicks bet this but do land. Small stakes.

Good luck all.
I’m towards the back end of my man-flu and tomorrows trip away to Forest for Derby is a tough one. If it gets played that is.
It’s a 12:30 pm kickoff and televised and both the 2 main rivers in Derby and Nottingham are creaking at the seems. Forest called off the Reading game a few weeks back with a waterlogged pitch and although the rain has not been too bad in the East Midlands, both the Trent and The Derwent are a lot higher than normal.
In truth I can’t see it being called off.
Forest are flying high in the top 6 getting some good results home and away, and whilst Derby’s form away has been dreadful, we’re showing a glimmer with our 4 back to back home victories. The first two of those victories and Derby didn’t deserve anything if I’m being honest. The 3rd win was a small improvement but although we beat 10 men Middlesbrough last weekend, Derby dominated after Borough scared the life out of them in the first 2 minutes. It was a big 3 pts for Derby especially given the extra Keogh/PFA drama that won’t go away.
The smart money has to go on Forest, but this is a local derby – and a big one at that. Forest’s biggest game of the season, and or 2nd biggest.
Derby are only 4pts off the playoffs despite having a dreadful away record. Forest I think are/were 5th. I can’t remember that far back when Forest were so far of Derby in the league, but this is a marathon, not a sprint.
Derby seem to of tweaked their setup, it looks like 4-3-3, but seems to switch back and forth largely due to Bogle playing as a wingback on the right. With 11 assist’s so far, he’s the top provider in the championship. Clarke is having some good football paired up with Davies in defence, Bielik is starting to earn his hefty transfer fee, Shinnie has taken a while to bed in, but has found his groove. He’s a bit like a gun dog that will fetch you the ball. Lawrence to be fair to him is playing some good football and seems a man on a mission having escaped a nailed on prison sentence. It’s good to see him being a bit humble when he’s having a good game, but we need him to be more consistent. Bennett has barely had a sniff since that day out. I think it is down to Martin and Marriott. You’d think Marriott would be the point man, but no, he’s playing off Martins shoulder and Waghorn on the opposite wing. So it switches to a diamond.
I know the Forest faithful will be buoyed by their recent run of results and fancy all 3 pts, but their talisman seems to be Cash ( not the money, the player ). If he has a good game, Forest tend to have a good game.
Derby still can’t defend set pieces and our keeper Roos is clueless at commanding his area or catching. He likes to punch. I think there’s 30,000 Derby fans that would like to take a swing for him each time he swings for that ball. He’s a liability.
It should be a good one for the neutrals. It is almost scripted that there will be a bag of cards dished out, but there has been a lack of reds between these two sides for a handful of games now, when they used to feature 50-60% of the time.
I also expect Forest to dominate the corners count. Derby don’t often play for them.
Derby’s home form worries me, but I’d rather stick pins in my eyes than bet against Derby playing Forest, so that is your call.
I’d consider looking at the cards market – overs , possibly the race to corners markets in Forests favour and possibly a small corners handicap again on Forest.
I need sleep and with a broken mobile and no alarm clock, I’m hoping on luck to wake me in time for the pre-match team news. If I’m available to assist from 11.30am till 12:30pm, I’ll reply to this thread.
Good luck folks and have a belter with your bets.
Shinnie card for an interest 13/8, was always booked in the big games north of the border
towards the end, I meant ” derby’s away form worries me ” – apologies for the slip up. just getting my bearings and waiting on team news. I’ll post very soon with final thoughts.
The west bound A52 from the M1 to Derby is closed because the Derwent rose to its highest point last night.
Took this straight off the BBC website as Radio Derby is still lacking in build up news:

Forest -2 corners h/c @ 13/10
Overs 4.5 total cards @ 4/5 all prices with bet365.
I don’t suggest you follow but I’ll have my usual treble on this match:
Over 12 corners @ 5/2
Overs 4.5 cards @ 4/5
Derby win and BTTS Yes @ 6/1
pays 43/1 with bet365.
Good luck folks.
Thanks killie, that’s really helpful. I think you might need a lie down
At least Lillie thought it was funny
Right. Lots of cricket on, as ever.
I’ll be taking an early west indies wicket when they bat. 3.6 points on the under line on 365 (it’ll be about 22.5) & 0.7 punkte on the under 10 line. Game kicks off at 0830.
I also think Afghanistan are overpriced at 6/4 so I’ll have a point on that.
My weekend cross sport acca is:
Mckinnon, egbunike and herring to win their bouts.
Logan Paul v ksi, to go the distance
Afghanistan to win
The scousers to win.
0.6 points pays £170
Gentlemen. Good luck gentlemen
Main bets for today
Chelsea win
Napoli win
I ll post later other good bets in my opinion
Had a half decent night .
Penalty at Dundee 3/1 . WINNER
Over 4 cards. Norwich v Watford 7/4 . WINNER
Over 1 card each team 21/10 LOSER
Red cards in France LOSERS
Happy enough with that . Well done all winners
Kilmarnock v Hamilton
Hamilton are 6/1 with Berfair to win this one..These odds are far to big imo
Also on Hamilton + 1 goal 13/10 Hills . Hamilton were big odds when they met earlier in the season and they won that one . Hoping for some of the same today
Yes seen that and totally agree. There is quite a few big prices today all over Uk + Europe. Dont care who is playing who 7/1- 20/1 for a team to win in a 2 horse race is crazy. I will be making some sort of yankee or multiple bet up .
Mainz-Union Berlin-1

I actually think there’s a much better card on Sunday especially in terms of value than I do for today.
So keeping it straight forward in the WDW:
• Leicester
• Spurs
• Leeds
• Inter Milan
• Real Madrid
But under 11/1 at the time of writing
Cocker – couldn’t find the odds but Preston v Huddersfield looks a good one for a peno today
Just had a look jon 10/3 Hills . Worth a small punt G.L.
Thanks cocker. Market isn’t up on it on 365
Mr F, a wee typo in the super single, should read over 1.5mgls instead of 2.5 for those odds and alignment with your write up I think. (Leicester and o2.5 is 7-4 with bet365). Cheers and good luck all today with your bets ?
A Hail Mary one for interest before i head out for rhe day .
Small stakes Yankee on a pen in all 4 SPL games. They are all 10/3 with Hills . I would be delighted with a treble . Good luck to everyone today .
Hearts to me look a decent price at home 10/11. They’ve not been on the best run but they do have some good quality players in their side.
Hearts
Raith
Montrose
4/1 Scottish treble.
Hillies odds offer – over 105 goals, cards, corners, throw ins, free kicks, goal kicks. 5/2. Bit of a chase but mike dean ref so could help with cards and free kicks
Good luck all
Two main bets for today
Two teams I feel are overpriced in the market so may be some value to be had
Southampton
Excellent reaction to Leicester game last week and if you wanted to play a team at home to get back on track you would probably have Everton high up on that list – how the bookies make Everton favourites to win is beyond me
Southampton to score 2 @ 13/8 NAP
Southampton to win @ 19/10
Southampton -1 on Asian Line @ 5/1
Queens Park v Brechin
Not going to pretend I am any expert on these two teams but the stats and form suggest that Brechin should be nowhere near the price they are.
Recent H2H shows 3 draws and 1 Brechin Win from last 5 at Queens Parks ground
Brechin -1 on Asian Line @ 11/10 NAP
Brechin to Win @ 15/2
Brechin -1 @ 12/1
Good Luck Everyone
Nothing doing today
Now I know why Brechin were priced like that at least!
Well done any winners
Morning Gents. Always a tricky card on Saturdays. Will try these ones for the afternoon k.o

QPR – Middlesbrough

Brescia – Torino
Southampton – Everton
Valencia – Granada
BTTS Treble

Chelsea v Palace
Taking a chance on Chelsea having a bit of a hangover after their mid week exertions and with Palace having a week’s rest.
Palace’s only defeats in their last 6 games have been to Leicester and City and both were at home. I think they are a better side away from home the way they are set up.
Palace +2 & +0.5tgs 31/20 2pts
Palace dnb 11/2 0.5pts
BOL
Very good bets for today
Barnsley – Stoke DNB BARNSLEY
Wingan – Brentford BTTS
Lecester – Arsenal over 9,5 corner easy. Its very good and over 10,5 corners
Both team produce many corners
Hertha – Leipzig AWAY WIN/ Leipzig scor 1,5 goals
Leipzig its in great shape
Very, very probably Hertha – Leipzig BTTS and over 2,5 goals
Reims – Angers under 10,5 corners
Both team d ont have many corners
For example Angers had only 2 corners in each last 3 away matches
Ussually Reims have 4 corners at home
BE MORE INSPIRED THEN ME
Bolton Wanderers look an attractive price @ 17/10 to beat Plymouth Argyle.
Raith rovers
Edinburgh city
Over 2.5mgs double 7/5
All Scottish games over 1.5mgs 70/1
Tonight
Heracles
Fortuna sitar’s
Over 2.5mgs double 13/10

Morning gents,
Just an early goal in Brasil last night and a disappointing scoreline in the end.
Heading to The Championship for a meeting between tier 2’s two top form teams…
HULL VS. WEST BROM
The Tigers are going about their business quietly and are in tip-top form; alongside The Baggies own solid run, they are potentially two of the divisions most impressive sides and I have a sneaking feeling that this one could end all square.
There’s no value in both sides to score at 4/7 so I’m sticking my neck out for a big-priced Nap and the 90 minute stalemate with a look to South American goals this evening:

Well done Forest, you had a chance and took it. Thought Derby were Ok in the first half but poor in the 2nd. Anyone notice Bogles head dropped after he made the clanger?
Btts never came in but the overs cards and race to 5 came in. As Meatloaf would say ” two out of three ain’t bad “.
2 out of 4, I forgot I tipped Forest -2 corners, my bad.
While others might be staying clear of this fixture, I’m hoping Stoke get the lift from Michael O’Neill and think they’re a great value bet today against a very poor Barnsley team.

Shocker of a Saturday – everything I touched was a goals short. Only winner was Montrose.
To add insult to injury I watched us get hammered 4-1 against Hibs
Well done all winners ????
If it’s any consolation ,made Montrose my main bet so thanks.
Maybe its time to widen your predictions.
Get the feeling its like the same teams.
Cove,Dundee,Dundee utd,Edinburgh,
How about trying South of the border?
How about just doing your own selections – Greg tips what he knows and does well.
What a strange comment. Greg has outstanding form on the Scottish leagues and if those are the teams in form then why we he not back them in favour of going south?
@Duff strange comment????? Whats the issue of trying other in-form teams…Cove have been great, but have dipped in form for goals lately,I never said anything about Gregs tips, just an idea of trying something different.
Nothing to do with widening horizons – The same Scottish teams are backed as they are delivering consistent winners.
Today was the first time we tipped Montrose And there’s usually an English game included.
We’ll always have a look at the English games but the Scottish games will always be the main focus on a Saturday as it’s sides and leagues I know most about.
Tipped the Norwegian flight tomorrow for total goals ??
Just back – didn’t get the usual late goal at Newcastle but enjoyed the game and the day out.
Nice on Keef – 19/20 was a ridiculous price eh
Ah that’s unlucky Greg but it sometimes nice to know even the best don’t get it right ?. It’s hard to back winners and You won’t be surprised to hear a lot of us support the great work you do. You do some random tips too it’s not always the same teams so keep up the great work you do mate. Thanks ??
