BUSY card tonight and my focus will be on the scottish games, with two matches from the Championship standing out. Dundee United host ICT in what is a must win for the Arabs. They'll be spitting feathers as at one point on Saturday they went level on points with Ross County, but a Ross County 2nd half demolition of Partick thistle when 2-0 down and a late Falkirk equaliser saw the gap go back to 5 points with County having played a game less. Partick Thistle travel to Dunfermline and I like the look of goals at odds against.

Dundee United vs ICT (KO 7.45pm)

Its must win for Robbie Neilson's men if they have any chance of catching Ross County with failure tonight would all but end their title aspirations.

Its been a good post window run for Unted with 3 wins and a draw but that draw on Saturday has cost them dear with Ross County coming back from two down to stretch their lead at the top to 5 points.

With United at home and with the quality and experience they have in the squad, they look good value to me to edge past a stuffy ICT side.

John Robertson's side have lost 2 or more goals in their 4 of their last 5 away matches (one win in five on the road) and I don't see them being able to keep this Dundee United squad at bay given the array of attacking options United have at their disposal.

Will be a closely fought match, Dundee United should have too much quality though.

Recommended Bet:

  • Dundee United to Beat ICT
  • 21/20 (BetVictor) (NAP)

Dunfermline Athletic vs Partick Thistle (KO 7.45pm)

The Jags absolutely capitulated in the second half on Saturday and are now back at the foot of the table. 2-0 up at half time against league leaders Ross County and absolutely cruising, they collapsed in the second half and ended up going down 2-4.

They are certainly more of a goal threat but defensively the jury is still out as they travel to Fife to take on a Dunfermline side who have won back to back games.

Thistle were on a cracking run of 5 wins on the spin before Saturday and will want to get back to winning but the Pars have their sights set on the play offs and I feel the their is value to back goals here.

Both have plenty to play for and need the three points so it should be an open game

Recommended Bet:

  • Over 2.5 match goals
  • 6/5 (Coral)

QPR vs Leeds United  (KO 7.45pm)

Don't need to say to much here  – QPR at home means late goal and its something I've been doing for a while now.

Posted it 4 times now Over the last month or so and its landed 3 times

Not sure what it is about Loftus Road Road but it just loves seeing late goals  – sadly for the natives they tend to be scored by the away side

Recommended Bet

  • Goal to be scored After 74 mins
  • 5/6 (Bet365)

Worth while checking inplay as you may get a better price or a similar price but earlier in the game
