BOOKIES would have been relieved at the failure of Man City and Rangers on Boxing Day as they must have feared a doing at one stage.
As expected Liverpool, Man United and Spurs won easily and Celtic held out to pick up the points at Aberdeen. At that stage it was all going the way of punters but first City then Rangers blew it and later Arsenal slipped up at Brighton.
So a good day for the bookies but also for HullShaker and Desmond and well done to anyone else who landed a winner. I can't remember who tipped Celtic to score 4+ at Aberdeen but that was a great shout.
My Super Single was a loser as Oxford flopped at home for the first time in ages and Stoke losing beat the Top Treble. Moneyback on the fivefold with Palace losing and nothing on the both to score treble.
I'm more concentrating on the weekend card now but on Thursday we have Southampton v West Ham and that looks good for goals. Not much else but a couple of Belgian games and Serie B matches so might look to put up a double in the morning.
Scott Allot has posted a preview on the Southampton game and I'm taking his tip of over 2.5 goals and adding the two Belgian games. Goals-wise the stats says overs so let's try a treble.
The last three meetings between Bruges and Lokeren have gone over 2.5 goals while Bruges have netted nine in those matches.
Anderlecht have been in poor form ahead of their meeting with Waasland-Beveren but the last five on h2h have gone over 2.5 goals so let's take a chance on that happening again.
Remember to look at welovebetting for their tips and video chat.

No good from Myself yesterday with 1 single corner short.
Well done all winners 👍
No alcohol for me on Boxing Day and again spending time with the family. Hope everyone had a decent day. My friend got a small £5 to £167 up on 5 games over 2.5 goals and after it looked so easy to pick-hindsight eh 😂
Palace beat my 4 fold after Leeds hearts and West Brom won.
Going for value in the West Ham win tomorrow and also

Yet another disgusting showing from football fans in the fascist cesspit that is Italy…..between them Nazi sympathisers and the Russian right wingers….utterly disgusting footballing societies that seem racist abuse as normal
Absolute rubbish from me yesterday, not one winner, the only good thing was City losing.
Well done all winners
Macca a win at the Etihad would go a long way too ending 30yrs of waiting 👍🏻 thank god Slippy G ain’t there too make a horses erse of it again
macca and mr h you could be missing salah for the arsenal and city game after his antics yesterday could change every thing
Plug I’m a Celtic man makes no difference too me. I’m only interested in 3 points in Govan in Saturday that’ll all but wrap it up for another year 👍🏻
Haha bitter, highly unlikely since he was grabbed on the arm.
@theplug Liverpool forward to face no action for his penalty as the pull on the arm is deemed enough for a penalty. It was a penalty so i couldnt see the fuss in the first place.
Southampton v West Ham
Over 2.5 goals at 4/5*****
Over 3.5 goals at 2/1
Over 4.5 goals at 9/2
Southampton have had a lift since their new manager arrived and this is exactly why new managers are brought in to give teams a boost and get vital points on the board, take Man Utd same thing two games two wins and Southampton have done exactly the same two games two wins, will it last???i don’t think so,but for us punters we can cash in whilst the goings good.Southampton have started attacking more freely and are scoring goals and today’s visitors can be a right handful on their day also, given that Southampton aren’t playing defensively minded then this should lead us to a more open game than you would expect and lead to goals at both ends.A winner here is tough to call so i’m going for a 3-3 draw also at 40/1*.
Best of luck

Morning gents,
Yesterday turned out to be a Christmas cracker with +19.4 points profit on the day although I was served up a big slice of luck with Jay O’Shea converting a penalty for The Shakers deep into injury time for two of the selections to land – a gift more gratefully received than Mrs Hull’s
‘I LOVE DOGGING’ mug and car sticker set…honestly, you just can’t please some people.
In total, I had 7 bets and even though 5 of those were winners, it’s still a few too many for me and I’ll be boxing clever and hoping less is more on a much smaller card…
SOUTHAMPTON VS. WEST HAM (1945 KO):
As much as fitness, technique and basic ability matter in sports, don’t ever underestimate the impact psychology can have either for or against teams and individuals.
The ‘new manager’ effect is way to common to be a coincidence and is a perfect illustration of psychology changing mindsets in football; the exact same group of players can appear transformed overnight way before any tactical or fitness regimes are put in place!
Southampton have been the latest in a long line of similar stories and the brilliantly named Austrian Ralph Hasenhüttl’s very recent appointment has seemingly turned Mark Hughes’ turnips into a very capable side who have found the net 3 times in both of their most recent games against Huddersfield and Arsenal respectively.
Aside from that psychological impact, Hasenhüttl has been working (much like Klopp did) on general running stamina and speed training and that has shown in both of the last two matches and ought to be even more prominent against The Hammers this evening.
West Ham are another attractive proposition for a goal and have failed only twice all season to score on the road having hit 2 and 3 against Fulham and Newcastle on their last successive away days – they do however have a few attacking options stifled by the probable absence of Arnautovich, Balbuena and The Little Pea himself and for that reason, the betting focus swings over to The Saints for me:

We all have good days and bad days, always worth remembering.
Your point being what Macca – I’m not gloating – just pleased it was a good day and hopefully made a few folk some money – like I said, I was very lucky with 2 bets.
Good luck today 👍
Not saying you was gloating Hull lad, some days we can have seven bets and seven losers.my point was make hey whilst the sun shines.
Fair enough – good luck sir 👍
Intrested to hear from the SPl experts on here like Greg and Mr Fix what they think of my season match bet of hibs finishing higher than hearts. I see it going possibly to the final game to decide it.
That’s a tough one mate, both sides been really struggling for wins. For me Hibs are the better team man for man but neither can be trusted. Hibs can’t afford to lose the derby just like Rangers can’t afford to lose the old firm.
What’s odds did you get
Also like the look of goals at St Marys. Will go for a player who has 4 goals in his last 4 games and takes the penalties

Mr F I dont think the stake was returned for the acca yesterday – didn’t Norwich burst it too? I didnt put it on at McBookie mind you.
Yes, it was a 2 point loser
As I said the other day “too much juice”. I didn’t even notice Norwich were in there.
The write-up says Leeds and West Brom but I’ve written Norwich. That’s me off the sauce.
Doing my usual booking bets at Southampton tonight

We do this be every year on different bets its 6-4 to him so need this one and he gets greedy over there and costs me a small fortune ahaa
Sorry mr h that was meant to reply to you pal didnt attach it to post.
I’d rather be on Hibs side with those attacking optionscompared too Hearts. Hearts are cloggers, kick ye aff the park everytime whereas Hibs play good football.
A trip too Amsterdam 🤔 hope the expenses are mostly 🍁 and not for the red window boxes 😂

Any thoughts on player cards in the Southampton v West Ham match? Going for a bet builder tonight.
I’d pickout Hojbjerg & Lemina for Saints, Noble & Snodgrass for West Ham as card candidates
Thanks pal. Had Noble in the thoughts so will run with him as I’m not up to speed on Southampton ‘s team.
Yup agreed re Snodgrass – bit fitter than he has been but still prone to a bit of rash behaviour!
11/4 so worth a small punt. Thanks for the tips!

RANGERS VS CELTIC TIPS
Expect a fiery encounter, cards and goals aplenty hopefully. Some really good prices available. Interestingly you’re getting better odds for a outfield player to be sent off than you are one of the goalkeepers. I absolutely believe Gordon or McGregor or hopefully both of them will get booked for this game. Could be booked for anything really, pulling down a player in the box, time wasting or what McGregor got booked for the last time the sides met, arguing with the referee.
Here’s an example of the odds I was telling you about. Let’s take Scott Brown and Allan McGregor for example. I believe there’s more chance of Brown being sent off and McGregor to be booked (500/1) as opposed to McGregor being sent off and Scott Brown being booked (125/1).
Scott Brown sent off
Allan McGregor Booked
500/1
Allan McGregor sent off
Scott Brown Booked
Only 125/1
Alfredo Morelos sent off
Allan McGregor Booked
450/1
Allan McGregor sent off
Alfredo Morelos Booked
Only 100/1
Scott Brown sent off
Craig Gordon Booked
350/1
Craig Gordon sent off
Scott Brown Booked
Only 100/1
Alfredo Morelos sent off
Craig Gordon Booked
400/1
Craig Gordon sent off
Alfredo Morelos Booked
Only 125/1
I’ll have a bash with Goalscorer was usual but for now I’m concentrating on the cards. I’m
Personally lumping on McGregor and Gordon as singles and will place several doubles for small stakes. Take your pick from the following. I’ll personally stick a couple of quid on each.
Recommended Bets
Allan McGregor to be Booked @ 14/1
Craig Gordon to be Booked @ 11/1
McGregor/Gordon to be Booked @ 150/1
Allan McGregor First Booking @ 66/1
Craig Gordon First Booking @ 66/1
Scott Brown sent off
Allan McGregor Booked
500/1
Alfredo Morelos sent off
Allan McGregor Booked
450/1
Scott Brown sent off
Craig Gordon Booked
350/1
Alfredo Morelos sent off
Craig Gordon Booked
400/1
Instead of backing Morelos or Scott Brown to get sent off as singles at 33/1, boost your price to 80/1 by backing one to be Booked and one to be sent off.
Scott Brown sent off
Alfredo Morelos Booked
80/1
Alfredo Morelos sent off
Scott Brown Booked
80/1
Interesting but still so tough to land one of those doubles.
And while people expect Brown to be sent off – he’s only had one red in 4 years.
Morelos has had more this season and would be a big candidate to go.
Do you think 33/1 is a good price for a Morelos red and are you backing goalkeepers to get booked
Yeah 33-1 is brilliant for Morelos red and yes I’m backing the keepers to be booked – not really expecting it to happen but worth a couple of quid.
Surely then Morelos red and McGregor to get booked at 450/1 or Gordon to get booked at 400/1 is worth a quid each.
I was thinking Morelos Red and Scott Brown to get booked at 80/1
I didn’t say it wasn’t – all these bets are worth a quid in the hope one comes up.
Just don’t expect any of the doubles to win.
Don’t know if it’s worth taking the plunge on Morelos single just now. I’m sure other bookies had him at 8/1 and 10/1 to be sent off last game. If Celtic take an early lead I could see him being frustrated.
33/1 might be bests to take now
Who are these prices with Chris ?
Some are with bet365 – not sure if they’re all from them.
All prices with Bet365
