MAY 13: SUPER SUNDAY TIPS

THERE are some pretty straight choices to be made on Sunday. Man City or Man Utd for the title, QPR or Bolton for the drop and who will finish third?

For me it's Man City all day long, I'd be surprised if Bolton saved themselves by winning at Stoke and I can't see Arsenal slipping up when they have a chance to rescue a poor season by at least finishing third.

So let's start at the top. Anyone who read my Daily Record column or who subscribes to our free newsletter will know my thoughts on the destination of the title so I won't dwell on it too long.

Man City will finish first by beating QPR at home and after 17 wins out of 18 at the Etihad I can't see them slipping up. The only they could fail is by bottling it but they overcome that hurdle last week by winning at Newcastle so should be fine in front of their own fans.

City are no better than 1-7 to win so look at them minus one (4-9, bet365) or minus two
(21-20, bet365). QPR, a biggest 20-1 at BetVictor, William Hill and Ladbrokes, will be relegated if they lose and Bolton win so they have plenty to play for.

For first scorer I’d look at Sergio Aguero who has been an inspiration and is 11-2 (bet365). Yaya Toure can’t be dismissed after his double at Newcastle and is 11-2 with bet365.

There is also the Mark Hughes factor with the ex-boss determined to stop the side who sacked him to make way for Roberto Mancini's revolution.

But Sparky can't influence what happens after the game kicks off so back Man City and sit back and watch them lap up the glory.

United must make sure they win at Sunderland just in case. They are a best 4-9 (various) to see it through but the atmosphere will be pretty flat. I'd back them to win 1-0 or 2-0.

Elsewhere in the Premier League, third and fourth place remain up for grabs but only third will be handed a Champions League spot if Chelsea win in Munich next Saturday.

Arsenal thought they had blown it by drawing at Norwich but their fate is back in their hands after Spurs and Newcastle also slipped up.

So back Arsene Wenger’s side to make sure this time and win at West Brom. The Gunners are a biggest 8-11 at Blue Square and look at Robin van Persie (10-3, Paddy Power) to bag the opener on what could be his last appearance for the club.

Spurs are ready to pounce on any mistakes by their rivals and should at least make sure of fourth by beating Fulham at home. They are 2-5 (various).

Slip-ups by Arsenal or Spurs could hand Newcastle a route to the Champions League so Alan Pardew’s men must beat Everton away to make sure.

However, it’s a tough task and I can’t see them doing better than drawing against a side who will once again finish the best of the rest and possibly above Liverpool. In fact I'd consider a punt on the Toffees at 5-4 (various).

At the other end of the table it could be curtains for Bolton. I’ve already written off Rangers so Bolton must believe they can survive with a win at Stoke.

It’s probably the last place you’d want to go needing a result and I can’t see Tony Pulis’ side doing Owen Coyle’s men any favours and I’ll be on Stoke at 6-4 (various). Bolton are a biggest 15-8 (bet365).

Norwich should end a superb season with a home victory against Aston Villa and are a biggest 5-4 at Ladbrokes and Wigan should celebrate safety by seeing off relegated Wolves at the DW. They are 8-13 (various).

Liverpool finally produced the goods with a 4-1 thumping of Chelsea in midweek and can finish the season on a high by beating Swansea. They are 23-20 at William Hill.
