IT'S another big weekend in England and Scotland with the action kicking off at 12.30 in the Premier League with Man City in action at promoted Wolves.
That match features heavily in my English preview and I can't see past the champions winning well.
Later Liverpool entertain Brighton and again I expect goals and a home win.
In Scotland both Rangers and Celtic are in action on Sunday so Saturday's best games are Hibs v Aberdeen and Kilmarnock v Hearts.
I've posted my top tips as well as the VIP tips for members. The reasoning for most of my selections are on the previews.
Remember to check out all the match previews from contributors and other features such as Scott's Euro tips.
Last night's goals double was a West Brom strike short and well done to all the winners including Jordan and HullShaker.

Hi gents,
It won’t be long before QPR start picking up points (potentially). But while they’re in this form it would be wrong to dodge it. Midweek I was on Bristol City to score before their goal time, and they did so with a 3-0 win at Loftus Road handing QPR their fourth defeat of the season. Their visitors meanwhile were busy beating promotion hopefuls Stoke. Wigan have started well with 7 points from a possible 12, scoring 2+ in all four games with their inly loss at another promotion hopeful in Aston Villa.
While two games on the road might be tough, Wigan will be taking moral into this one and shouldn’t underestimate QPR.

Morning gents
Really like the look of today’s card, a number of games i fancy
Hibernian v Aberdeen
This will the first Saturday Hibs will have played this season due to their earlier Europa League commitments and they should benefit from the rest. There’s not much not much between these sides but we all know Easter Road is the place to be if you want to see goals. This should be a cracking game and it wont be far off a sell out. Hibs have been terrific in attack but far from convincing defensively so far this season and I can’t see them keeping a clean sheet against a well drilled Aberdeen side who’ll cause this Hibs team problems. Both sides contributing at what I think is over priced

Leeds have started the season well and there’s usually goals at Carrow road, another match we’re we should see both sides contributing to the goal count
Was on Swindon midweek and they didn’t disappoint with a 2-2 draw, that was after being 2-0 up then seeing two men sent off. They are now 17 of their last 20 matches on the road over 2.5 goals and again they are likely to concede

Most of the rest ! Bet365 are pretty comprehensive and well laid out with competitive prices
Depends on what markets you do karl — i find Hills best for prices on penalties , but not as good on others . Shop around mate there are plenty out there.
All depends on what you are betting on. You probably need to be with several to get the best of everything. But only do that if you can sensibly manage multiple accounts.
I use 365 & Skybet mainly for offers, WH decent sometimes too wi offers

Still not confident enough to put up a Derby/Preston match preview – ( If I wouldn’t bet with my own money, I can’t expect you guys to follow me ), So I shall instead do a post Ipswich insight and a few stats and thoughts for todays match where Derby host Preston.
On Tuesday, we beat Ipswich 2 nil. The first half from a Derby perspective was much like the previous 4 matches in all competitions. Very bogged down, although we started off strongly, nothing clicked into place. Both teams were quite evenly matched although Derby dominated stats. With very few chances before ht for both sides, this looked like the second half was going to follow the same vein. Last year Ipswich ( who have a terrific record at Derby, drew first blood with a corner taken and scored from by Waghorn very early on. ) Ipswich parked the bus and won 1 nil. The same score-line that keeps popping up between the two sides.
In Tuesdays match, Derby looked to be winning those key battle in midfield due to an injured Johnson being swapped out for new signing George Evans. Evans got a knock early on ( 15 or so mins in ) and Derby put Ledley on in his place. Derby lost that resilience in the middle of the park and we made it to the halfway point all square at 0-0.
The second half wasn’t great but it was better, we dominated stats – possession mainly and Ledley scored from outside the box from a loose ball off a corner. It did take a deflection that caught the keeper out but they did deserve the lead.
We seem to be quite lost in the first 45 mins, slow starting and now we look like we have a game plan but only in the second half. Lawrence was brought down just outside the box and duly obliged with a semi-decent freekick that again left the keeper dithering, he got a big hand to it and slammed it into the floor, only to see the ball end up in the Ipswich net. Derby pushed on and we registered our first win at home and our first clean sheet.
Tomori was decent but not perfect, Bogle in right back was industrious, Ledley upped his game in the second half and Jozefzoon ( late cameo for Bennett ) looked menacing.
Nugent had another goal ruled offside but 3 pts in the bag is better than 1 ( especially given the gaffer and the owners forecast for the next several games ).
Up steps Preston. Unlike Ipswich, their form at Derby is absolutely awful. They won their opening game, then drew 2 and lost 1. Preston seem a bit short up front and given their past stats against Derby, I feel they’ll want this game out the way.
Last season, Derby did the league double over them, one of only a few sides that we managed it against. this game last season ended 1 nil to Derby.
The last 3 matches in all competitions, Derby have dominated the latter stages of the match. Winless in 3 matches, Preston have never won a game from the last 11 visits to Pride park. Drew 6, Lost 5. From a max of 33 pts from 11 head to head meetings home and away, Derby have got 24 pts, Preston have got 6 pts.
Derby’s Davies, Evans, Olsson, Huddlestone, Malone and Wilson are out injured and last night in the under 23’s, Derby beat Chelsea away 1 nil courtesy of a 21st minute winner from Chris Martin. He along with Ikechi Anya and George Thorne all got 90 minutes, so I doubt they’ll play a part in todays match.
Although I’ve not looked at prices, I would risk a few pts here and there, but ONLY in singles.
I’d be happy with a Derby double result – 3 pts.
Derby win – 1pt
Derby win to nil – 1pt
Derby to score in the 2nd half – 1 pt
Both the overs/unders and btts are too unpredictable for me to make an honest prediction. same with the corners markets. We are a little less disciplined right now, possibly because we’re still a bit disorganised as a unit, so we’re getting silly avoidable cards. It might be worth keeping an eye on that.
Also, our pointman ( either Nugent or Waghorn ) is having no rub of the green. They need to stop firing blanks and start contributing to the scoresheet.
Be careful with this game guys, the stats for A Derby win look good, but we’re all too aware of what happened with Leeds. I still have my focus firmly on what was said a few weeks back about scraping results whilst we build.
Good luck today guys.

LINCOLN v NOTTS COUNTY over 2.5 mgs 4/5.
Summary:
Have been watching the Imps closely early doors and without doubt they certainly ain’t firing on all cylinders as yet. One thing they consistently are good at is preserving till final whistle, beating Bury 2-1, last time out, coming from behind in doing so, thus travelling County will need to improve defensively and collectively if they want something for their efforts ( last two away games ending 3-2)
Lincoln should find the net today with all things considered but so should County. Last seasons game ended 2-2, and today may follow a similar pattern in regards to goals!

A couple of selections above well covered by others already. Toulouse have scored 9 of last 10 home games, whilst Nimes have scored 7 in last 2 games including 3-4 win away to Amiens and 3-1 win at home to Marseille, for me worth considering btts at 4-6.
Young boys have won 4 out of 4 in their league start and should have too much for Neuchatel… (my only wee concern here is whether they might have an eye on champs lge qualifier mid-week but looking for them to go into that with a victory).
Good luck all today ?

Well, Billericay shafted my treble at the first hurdle but seems a waste to not focus on one of the other legs as confidence was high for each…I’m favouring Iceland!
VALUR VS. FJÖLNIR (2100 KO):
Valur by far the stronger side and historical scorelines between the two are well worth a look; there have been 13 H2H’s over the last 4 years with just 5 being played on Valur’s patch…of those 5, Valur have hit an impressive 4-1-4-3-4 team goals.
With the last 4 successive home games bringing 2-4-3-4 team goals and Fjolnirs poor form, team goals may well be tge way to go:

I said it after the Palace game and you all laughed – Liverpool with another boring lucky 1-0 win no way at all win they win the league. Salah is nowhere near the threat he was last season doesn’t look happy at all he won’t be there this time next season.
@acsafc What a statement to make,on another day Liverpool are 4-0 up at half time, what was Lucky about the result we was hardly under the cosh,of course not the best performance we have ever witnessed but a win none the less. What about City not winning at Wolves they were poor, respect to Brighton for setting up well, they hardly threatened us did they.I can’t comprehend the bit where you say LUCKY your talking bollocks.
Asafc
I didn’t laugh I’ve said it from the start Liverpool won’t win the premiership.macca is away with the ?♀️fairys pool had a good pre-season but they look way off city still even tough city drew today .pool struggled today and against palace
You say Liverpool have no chance of the premier league title,i get that and i value your opinion.Just anwser my question, why were Liverpool lucky today,i watched the game and they bossed it,could of had four or five first half hit the bar,hit the woodwork, limited Brighton to one chance,so how were they lucky??Unbeaten at home in 16 months keeping 17 clean sheets out of 22 games, todays game was like a training game
macca look at the game again ,pool controled the game ,could have had at least another 2-3 goals but didn’t ,brighton had a very good second half and should have equalize in the last ten mins with the chances they had.they put thoes chances away against united last week.and i do agree with you on one thing it was like a training game boreing

The sun is finally down after all the 3pm kick off which is usually bad luck for me; caught in a dilemma between Iceland and Bolivia football but hull made it easy by heading to iceland so am left with Bolivia league 2games kicking of around 8pm and 10 respectively but my focus is the game by 10pm between San Jose vs sport boys based on stats here last 12 H2H between this two has been goals galore except some blanks in between but the home form is what caught my fancy here San Jose has score 3+ goals on home soil in the last 4-5 games.
so am backing over 3.5 mgls???
53 mins and is 4 0 to San jose ???
No joy with goals in the City or Liverpool game,i bet the bookies made plenty on them two games, only winner coming today was btts and overs in the Bournemouth game.
Well done all winners.
Having watched both the Man City and Liverpool games today, I’m glad I don’t pay subscriptions to either Sky or BT.
Never been so bored in all my life!
I remember the days when teams couldn’t get the ball to the feet of their creative players quick enough.
Nowadays it seems to be a case of how much possession defenders can have on the ball.

UCR VS. PÉREZ ZELEDÓN (2200 KO):
Quick post but UCR have seen some bonkers games since the restart and 5-3-4-4-4 MGS in their 5 games paints a pretty healthy picture – for their part, Zeledon’s games have been fair to middling with a good number of games seeing btts/overs.
H2H-wise, it’s a fixture that has stood me well in recent years so having a pop at the following:
OVER 2.5 MGS…EVENS
