Welcome to the new-look MrFixitsTips

WELCOME to the new-look MrFixitsTips.co.uk. After months of behind-the-scenes work I’m delighted to launch the brand new site, our first major revamp since we first launched the site in 2010.

I hope you’ll like what you find on the new site as it’s jam-packed with brand new features and if you become a member you can make the most of them as well as gaining access to loads of great new benefits.

Here are a few pointers that will help you get your bearings on the new site.

Tips

My regular tips will be available to everyone and if you want to comment you’ll need to register an account with us. A Basic account is free and means you can take the first step to joining our community, giving you the ability to comment, manage your profile and participate in selected forums.

Tips from our regular tipsters including Greg Browning, Scott Allott, Johnb, Desmond and Ace Venturer will also be free for everyone, although you’ll need to be a member to see every tip which will be posted on our forums.

Your Profile

Once logged in click on the your name in the top right of the screen and you’ll be able to access lots of features relating to your account. You can edit your profile, including uploading your own picture, you can check your notifications, view your own activity and even see a summary of the forums you’ve commented on.

Community Members

A great new addition is the ability to see everyone who is a member on the site. If you’re a member yourself you can invite other members to become your friends. You can then track your friends’ activity on the site via your profile.

Community Clubs

Clubs are great way to interact with other members about a world of topics outside of betting. On the old site, posts were often clogged up by people talking about their favourite team, TV programmes or what they had for dinner,  now you can have a whole stream of conversations with people who want to listen to you in your own club. We’ve created some football related ones to get you started, but as a member you’ll be able to create your own – please do so responsibly!

Forums

This is where most of the action will now take place. Some forums will be locked for subscribed members only so keep an eye out for the little padlock symbol on the forum index. These forums will be reserved for members-only features, tips, challenges and competitions. Basic members will have access to all other forums.

That means it’s over to you to set the agenda. You can start topics, join in on existing ones or simply look in and see what’s being said. Again please do so responsibly.

We’ll be adding new features as we continue to grow the site and have loads of ideas to continue to bring you the best possible betting resource on the net. We’d love to hear your ideas and receive your feedback on the new site – there’s a forum for that!

Subscriptions

There are three levels membership available, two of which are paid as explained here.

Annual (Gold) Members enjoy the greatest benefits. Not only will they save £25 per year, they’ll also receive a £10 free bet from our friends at Coral and they’ll be automatically enrolled in my Betting Club where they’ll get the chance to share in the winnings of my weekly bets.
